Ok...I rarely complain about this, but minami-Okaeri animation is terrible. I'm one of the few people who prefered 2nd season and didn't mind the downgrade, but this time, it reached a new low, especially in the first half. Intro song wasn't good either (compared to the old ones).

For a first episode, I will have to say it's a let down in overall. I'm still happy to get more of this show, but it could have been better.

Yeah, I just watched it. It was alright, the animation as Kaylia said was poor, but overall it doesn't really detract from the show. Some of the scenes were a bit hit or miss, I liked the scene at the end most (the one with the pen).

I didn't really find the animation worse than previous seasons (it has been a while since I have seen them though), but compared to newer anime it did seem a little worse than theirs.

edit: I thought it was a decent episode overall. The intro shows a lot of characters I liked from the previous seasons, so, I am hoping this season will get better as it goes on.

Dunno, I rewatched 1 episodes of season 2 yesterday, and while the amount of animated frame was about the same, I didn't notice any part where characters face was poorly drawn. There was a lot of them in the first half of the first episodes.

Some of the scenes were a bit hit or miss, I liked the scene at the end most (the one with the pen).

The pen ones was my favorite as well, but any scenes with Kana is win usually.

And chihiro sub are generally bad afaik. Missed joke are probably related to poor translation.

Yeah, I generally avoid Chihiro unless there's no helping it. But Ayako is subbing it as well no? I think they're better. However, I don't feel like I missed anything with Chihiro.

Well, i know there was a lot of puns in first two seasons, so every time there is a no punch line, it's usually bad translation.

Cause I didn't. It was like watching Shana all over again. Really interesting concept ruined by shitty writing, cliche'd to hell characters and fucking deus ex machina ending that was so abrupt. Man, what an obnoxious show. Every episode it felt like something interesting would happen that would turn it around...

Only thing wrong with Shana was the endings of each series, plus the huge filler arc from like ep 8 to 14 in season 2. Both unavoidable with the amount of material they had left to work with.

Was planning to watch because the concept seemed interesting, but after seeing the character designs and first episodes, it did look like something that would turn into a big cliche. Probably gonna watch because it's only 13 episodes, but I'm not expecting much.

Yeah Chaos;head was ok as something to watch when I was really really bored. It just didn't come together well at all. I was really depressed by the ending, on another note Casshern sins is getting fucking awesome.
