    yeah, but with the addition of those innovators and federation new enemies and shit, they need to start killing off other characters if they expect a decent development and/or avoiding SEED/geass ending where they just kill everyone randomly in the end after realizing they made waay too much bad guys with only like 1-2 them actually mattering

    And I thought that was a great time to kill off Ali so Setsuna can focus on the weeaboo faggot or ribbons, whomever decide to fuck with him on the next few episodes

    Cockroach villains is nice and all, but they get fucking annoying fast, and with the middle east being just a giant crater now, the role of Ali is pretty much done anyway

    Unless they're keeping him alive so lockon or nena can take him out...

    His overall presence in S2 so far is pretty weak that it wouldn't have surprised me if setsuna just off him then and there though. I mean he just show up that one time and kick setsuna's ass, then spend the rest of the series so far brown nosing ribbons. Plus I figured if he's dead now, the story can focus more on Setsuna x Weeaboo or Setsuna x Ribbons character development that'd eventually lead to some epic duel in the finale.

    And it's not they have shortage of opposing ace pilot anyway, with the innovators and now louise getting her own suit, it's not like Ali's lost will be that huge to begin with, IMO anyway
