Just watched last 3 episodes of Oh! Edo Rocket, and this was definitively one of the best anime this year. Story is simple, but it worked really well. Was hoping for something more emotional like ep20, but it was still great.

Looks like we have some Slayers fans in the FFXI development team. Now I just need to find out where Bastok and Windurst came from. (We all know Jeuno is the misspelled capital of Alaska).

I guess its because I normally listen to the dub and not the subs and in the dub they say "San-d-ria" and I always think of it as "San-door-ree-ah"

I was a little confused at first too, but I would say around 5-6 when rail tracer shows up, it starts to get good. More action and bloody stuff :3

I wish more people would watch Hayate. Show has so many priceless moment, even if certain part can be boring. Hope it wont be censored as much on the DVD, it can get annoying at time, but its still hilarious.

My main problem with HnG was that it started off as a pretty dark comedy, then just turned into a normal comedy. Some bits are good, but between the censorship and the story the funny parts are far and few inbetween.

I'll probably watch it when a batch torrent comes out with all the episodes, but by now downloading from 10 > 39? or whatever isn't exactly worth the effort.

Too many fillers for me... I admittedly only watched this ep because of the eyecatch ;o

Next week the manga storyline is back (finally! this season was almost all filler...) so I'll probably start watching again.

Dunno, never really thought Hayate was going to be a dark comedy. Maybe I got spoiled by wiki entry or something, but it was like I expected it to be. Narrator sarcastic comment never get old, and the whole fourth wall breaking always crack me up. Some filler sucked badly, but most will get a few laugh out of me, more than most anime airing atm. There is always a few clever jokes here and there that make it worth the time imo.

First episode gave me the impression it was gonna be kinda quirky and dark. Watching the first episode and the one's after really is like a whole different show.

I probably should've looked into the manga first.

just finished watching higurashi kai, what are they thinking about doing a 3rd season about? I was surprised about how good this season was. I think the pacing was fine and it certainly keep me watching. I marathoned the whole season in a couple of days because I remember how gay it was waiting for new episodes so I guess the whole pacing thing isn't really an issue for me. some episodes were done really well, the last couple of episodes in the second to last arc were amazing but the last arc had too many slapstick moments (I don't mind them at the start of the arc).

overall I love this series

now I need something new to watch, recommendations?

Really liked it up until the point that I realized the show had no actual plot whatsoever.

Need new Code Geass now :\
