Anime Thread. [Prob not 56k safe]

Just finished Black Lagoon.

Really liked it up until the point that I realized the show had no actual plot whatsoever.

Need new Code Geass now :\

based on a manga, so I guess in the long run something could have happened. But I liked the random stories they had, it works well in a mercenary sense seeing as there doesn't need to be an overlaying story to give you the impression of their life style. Each story is it's own, so in that sense it did have a plot, just no grand scheme or ending.

I'd call Black Lagoon good just because it had that relentless killer maid, Roberta. Those episodes were great.

just finished watching higurashi kai, what are they thinking about doing a 3rd season about? I was surprised about how good this season was. I think the pacing was fine and it certainly keep me watching. I marathoned the whole season in a couple of days because I remember how gay it was waiting for new episodes so I guess the whole pacing thing isn't really an issue for me. some episodes were done really well, the last couple of episodes in the second to last arc were amazing but the last arc had too many slapstick moments (I don't mind them at the start of the arc).

overall I love this series

now I need something new to watch, recommendations?

Just wondering what they'll do for the 3rd season too, it seems so complete now. Additionally this was one series I knew I couldn't just wait for eps for XD.

Only thing I can recommend atm is Clannad, nothing else seems to strike me as amazing or good atm.

Now that Higu and Genshiken is done I'm pretty much left with only Clannad and Gundam... Well I guess this opens me up for when Code Geass comes cause I'm still rather pissed on the cliffhanger........

Anyone watch Red Garden? I was a bit disappointed on how it had such a slow start at first, considering how the intro is made of awesome, but now that it's picking up the action it's getting pretty interesting. Worth a watch.

If you're looking for older shows try Akagi, it's hit or miss but really quite amazing.

lol, I started watching Akagi because of Kaiji :D it's very addicting.... I actually think it's better than Kaiji (Kaiji is starting to annoy me because he cries in every episode in this arc now it seems)

I watched the first 2 episodes of Kaiji and lol'd at the style (I love it), but I haven't really caught up on it. I think I'll go do that now, thanks for recommendations aers :D

probably look up red garden as well, the style interested me in that too.
