Could someone recommend something new for me to watch since soul eater is about to end. I'm super into animes like Welcome to the NHK and Soul Eater, but the animation has to look clean for me to watch it as well kind of like those 2.
Welcome to the NHK animation was bad kinda...
Death Note? Gurrann Lagann? Macross Frontier? Dennou Coil? I don't know, there is so many good anime out there, just pick any you see mentioned in this thread more than a few time, and give it a try.
Loved the Toradora ending.
ToraDora ended great. Almost got angry that it was gonna end without Taiga.. then baaam!
I was thinking the same thing about Toradora's ending. >.< I was just like, "there is no way it can end like this...." Yay for the happy ending though!
I thought the same exact thing as well.
The last scene was a bit different in the last novel, she came back ~2 months after living with her Mom, in time for the start of 3rd year, instead of at the end of 3rd year.
And they ran into each other on the street on the way to school, then held hands for the rest of the way to school while Ryuuji was thinking about the future with Taiga/marriage/etc.
Other than that it was pretty close to the last novel, a bit more dramatic in the anime I suppose.
Yeah. I loved the Toradora! ending as well. Was rather fitting.
I'm rewatching Hayate no gotoku for season 2 soon and to not forget about taiga :D
"more dramatic" is such a relative term.
I honestly was hoping for FFVIII style embracing each other reunion when Ryuuji caught a glimpse of taiga in the classroom, with him saying "suki da yo" or "aishiteruze" before kissing her.
But I guess hiding in the closet and headbutting is dramatic in its own way...or something
Oh well, onto FMA, let's just hope Rie Kugimiya immersion the past few season will not cause me to have unhealthy thoughts about Alphonse >_>
It's gonna kinda suck starting from scratch though, but considering there will be no filler, it'd get to the branching path between the manga and the first anime series soon enough.
Though I personally can't fucking wait until the Xingese join the fun.
Watching
Spoiler: show
is going to suck all over again.
srsly ; ;
watching
Spoiler: show
Once it gets that far is gonna be faptacular though, along with all the other homunculus battles
The bribery scene wouldnt be the same if there was no new character!
I don't know...the show was starting to get old for me, and this new addition came just in time to keep thing fresh.
[EDIT]
And alphonse with Taiga/Nagi/louise's voice is my biggest fear about FMA. I'm not sure I could take him seriously if he sound like any of them.
Did you not watch the Japanese version of FMA before the NA version or something, Kaylia? Alphonse will have the same VA as before. I'm sure her Alphonse will be more boyish than Taiga/Louise. ._.
I know that ;/
It's usually the argument I use when when people are saying Kugimiya's character are always the same.
Anyway, I watched an old clip earlier, and he does kinda sound like a grumpy Taiga when he isnt in his armor. (1min10)
YouTube - Full Metal Alchemist Ep. 10 (1/3)
Not enough for me to think he is a tsunderer tho.
Toradora: Great ending, especially the first and last scene. I'm going to miss those characters, because they were really likeable.
I hope the show was popular enough to influence other studio...it was really nice to see an anime that isn't plagued with fillers, and got a conclusion. No more no-ending please.
Druaga: Good ending again. The events werent surprising, but the fight was interesting enough, and the dialogue were decent (no lenghty pseudo-philosophical speeches, or emo-ness). I'm kinda surprised they didn't bring back anyone, but it's all good.
However, i still have one question. What happened to the guy who killed Gilgamesh last episode? I might have missed the scenes, but I didn't see any conclusion for him.
