Was Girl Who Lept Through Time's ending at least better than Voices of a Distant Star? Because that still pisses me off.

I'm going through toradora again because I kinda binged it the first time around and I think I missed some things, and... in episode 3, where they focus on Minori for most of the episode, there's a moment very early on right after Taiga destroyed half the classroom telling people she wasn't involved with Ryuuji... Minori stops him and tells him about the discussion she had with Taiga, and she starts to talk, stops, says his name... then he's running off. Knowing what we found out later in the series... well, it's nice to know that what she reveals later didn't come out of nowhere; they did actually plant seeds even this early, even if it was hard to catch the first time.

00 end was ok I guess, but it seemed like they went out of their way to keep all the characters alive just for the movie. Exia vs. 0079 was also kinda lame. And lol at Hal almost killing himself again just so he can use the retarded lobster claw. He would have beat Hilling without getting touched if he'd used the beam saber instead, same thing with Soma/Segei in season 1.

About Jupiter, there's a CB base/installation there of some sort, and it's where the real GN drives were made. You can see the lights from 4-5 GN drives when they show Jupiter, so the villians of the movie are probably some remnant innovators, or aliens that took over the shit.

Hey! I thought the Hal/Hilling kill was pretty fucking awesome. Also, Exia (First Gundam for Setsuna) vs RX78-2.. 0 Gundam (First Gundam period) was pretty awesome. Wtf are you talking about man?! D: Haha.

Plus, about the Hal thing.. would it be really exciting if he were to just fly in and go "/slash" Game over? That's not exciting at all. Also.. if you paid attention, Hilling didn't hurt Al/Hal really. It was Ribbons' fangs that got him bad.

(H)Allelujah was fuckwin. I am always happy whenever I hear his maniacal laughter. First he slices off an arm, then uses his beam rifle as a bat to clobber Hilling, rips out the Gadessa escape pod, then crushes Hilling to death with the lobster claw. I actually thought he was going to die too because the Gadessa stabbed into Arios but apparently Hilling doesn't know where to aim.

Wished they had shown more of Super Soldier (H)Allelujah fighting in the series. He had to be THE best pilot in the series.
and lawl at how they ended Acre's storyline in the series. just sitting in a dark doorway. Though I'm sure in the movie It'll be him and his new duel sword gundam that one guy was working on vs setsuna.

Hal got stabbed with laser claws right next to the cockpit while crushing Hilling with the lobster claw. Like I said, he almost died (again) just for the sake of using it.

Setsuna was dodging tons of those funnels for minutes, and super mode Hal couldn't dodge a single one and got cut down in seconds. Kinda made him look like shit in comparison.

So. Finally caved in and jumped on the "Girl who Leapt Through Time" bandwagon, and I've gotta say, I was very impressed. I would definitely put it on par with some of Miyazaki/Ghibli's stuff. It was just that good.
