Basquash 02 was alri, I really love the ED for this series though more than any of the ED's for the recent shows out atm.

yeah some the musics not bad in that series, the song played midway..? in ep2 was kind of nice.
I'm not 100% watching it just because of the ecchi scenes! >.> <.<
Although I've found some hentai for the series *cough cough* I've found hentai for almost every new anime out currently so... ha!

alot of animes use american things such as Seto no Hanayome's references to the terminator and bruce willis, hell even the to-LOVE-Ru anime's first episode had 2 minutes was based off the dearthstar battle from starwars~

I finally went and downloaded/watched Toradora! Excellent anime, though I think it was a needless thing at the end causing the 1 year timeskip...oh well. It was an excellent show and I'm glad I downloaded it.

It was only like 2 months in the novel but probably wanted more impact for the anime.

Also, the reference to Bourne identity was spot on in the context. I'm actually surprised they refered to something that isn't japanese.

This whole series in general looks to use alot of American/english. OP is in English, they got actual English voice actors too.

It was kind of strange that they were speaking japanese to the lady cop/airport people and they understood what they were saying, although technically I guess they are assumed to be speaking English.

Sort of like in Black Lagoon, although everyone technically speaks in Japanese it's obvious that the official language of Ranapour isn't Japanese, just a convenience for the show. Pretty sure Rock is only one that can actually speak it.

Yeah. I've seen that used in a lot of series. You can't just have the Japanese voice actors rattling off a ton of english when it isn't their native language, or it can make them sound really bad.. as was the case in "Beck" sometimes. So I guess it's assumed the language they are speaking, even if it's not really that.

That, or the cops and what not knew Japanese already.

Well.. in defense of some of it, we never saw the Saki to the cabbie at the start, or to the cops when she threw the penny, or do the shop/wagon owner when she was chasing after Akira. The only time she actually spoke to someone was the guy coming out of Akira's building, and she spoke to him in english.

As far as Akira goes, yeah.. he spoke to the guy in his building, but maybe he knew understood Japanese, but just couldn't speak it, and Akira understood English, but just couldn't speak it. The only thing odd is the female police officer, and even then.. Akira misunderstood what "Johnny" meant, and thought she meant his penis, and not his credentials. There's explanations for all the japanese/english speaking sections, in my opinion.

I know comedy do parody pretty often, but that's not what it is here. The whole story share some similarities with Bourne Identity, and mentioning it like this is more like an homage than a parody.

Wondering what to watch this season. Normally just scan through Anime Recommendations and Information - Anime-Planet or AnimeNfo.Com and pick a show and watch the entire series on torrents or youtube...

Saw that KyoAni was doing an anime called K-On!. Reminded me a bit of Lucky Star, in a slower way. Anyone knows what day that comes out in Japan?

Will watch the new FMA this season.

Also, what else would be something to start watching this season. I like well animated ones mostly. Past Favorites (Death Note, Haruhi, Kanon 2006, Clannad, Scrapped Princess, Lucky Star, Full Metal Panic, Azumanga Daioh, True Tears, and a bunch of harem styles as long as its not too corny Love Hina, Negima, Ichigo 100%, Ai Yori Enshi)
