I must one few who think this show is retarded LOL, God why cant we have a new FMP the novels already have enough material to go for 2-3 seasons ( yes the more FMP the far happier i'll be )

KyoAni and novel author have a close relationship, hes working on the final novel right now I'm pretty sure, and since the last 5-6 novels are one big arc they can't animate it until its over.

Could someone tell me what Training With Hinako! OVA? cause i downloaded it is it suppose to be an OVA from a TV series?

It's an exercise/workout video for otaku, it only got subbed as a joke probably, plus the character that instructs is good looking I guess.

it won't be lots of musical shows. So far, there only two musical event through out the manga. So you might be disappointed >.>

I figured that the show might just be about a group of girls being as cute as they possibly can (and/or funny, who cares) instead of the music. It's a shame, because I really like music based shows (Nana, Nodame etc) when they're about the music and I was looking forward to seeing more of that.

However, I'm not surprised because this is the kind of stuff KyoAni likes to do, so whatever. I'll probably keep watching, but at least now I won't be expecting music to be the main thing, so I can probably save myself a lot of disappointment when the series ends.

Gurren Lagann movie was fucking great. I totally forgot how epic the anime was and the movie was just strung together so nicely. I can't wait for the second half.

I hope Nia stay alive this time. It's the only thing I hated about the ending. Killing her was totally pointless.

I watched K-on first two episodes a few days ago. I usually enjoy that kind of show for a short while (8-12 episodes), but they get old pretty fast without any real character development. Going through 26 episodes of Hidamari Sketch made me realize how stale that kind anime can get after a while, even if they are enjoyable at first.

And as gay as it sound, they need to stop making show with no male character (and if there is one, he need a fucking personality).

East of Eden was great again. The story progress a bit slower than I hoped, but it's awesome, so I don't care.

Seriously, the ending of gurren lagann was pretty idiotic in a sense that he just travelled through space, time, and dimension then kill a fucking godlike being to save Nia, yet was content in letting it go when her existence dissapear on the ground of, as Yoko put it "Simon is not god" when Gimmy brought up the point that "hey guys, can't you just use spiral power to undo the collateral damage"

It really takes away from the journey when the end is like that, and the epilogue is...blah

Everytime I rewatch the final episode, I just close the thing after Anti Spiral's final quadruple explosion, because really that's the best the series get :/

I really wish for a less stupid ending, and preferably an epilogue where Yoko is still fappable.

I don't have any issue with Simon letting Nia go. His character matured a lot, and it wasn't something he could fight against.

What bother me is that her death totally came out of nowhere, and accomplished nothing. Kamina and Kittan's death were beyond epic, and they were both needed plotwise. Nia's death on the other hand accomplished absolutely nothing, the world was already saved. It wasn't bad...just depressing and leave you wanting more.

I'm sure something interesting will be put in those 20 minutes. That or maybe they'll just extend the final fight to something even more epic.

Epic: Surpassing the usual or ordinary, particularly in scope or size

I don't know. It's hard to get more epic than giant robot tossing galaxies at each other. Sure, I guess they could toss universes instead, but it's getting hard to conceptualize the scene from our 3d perspective.

Yeah, I remember I had to actually re-watch the ending just to make sure I knew what the hell was going on exactly and even then it still was pretty crazy. xD

Anyway, I watched Guren-Hen last night and my man spirit was on fire. I forgot how epic this show is. I liked the new arrangement but I wish they included Yoko's sniper shot against that general who held Nia captive and when they all got captured and Simon dug his way out etc etc.

I thought it would go all the way to the fight with the Spiral King, but I'm glad it didn't. Next movie should be amazing.

why is everyone shocked? Gainax is notorious for crappy endings first was Evangelion, Mahoromatic and finally Tengen Toppa Gurren Lagann. I haven't seen Evagenlion in years but if anyone defends that retarded ending (other shit annoyed me but ending was kick in your balls) seriously in death and rebirth shinji went beserk when he saw asuka unit eaten you expected in end of evagenlion he would go ape shit and kill them all not fucken end the world....

well, just watched the 2nd gurren lagann movie today. i just really don't know what to say....i felt that they went overboard with the epicness (yes i know it sounds crazy but you'll see what i mean when you watch it) i was pretty much sitting there going "wth is goin on here" lol. definitely over the top to the 9000th power and beyond.
