If you like Geass you might wanna check out Shigofumi - it's got the same script writer as Code Geass.

Just started playing Akagi DS... it's actually quite fun!

Not knowing much of the rules of Mahjong and just going by the anime, I was able to win quite a few matches in the game. The cool thing is that, you get to have Akagi's "special talent", and when you hover over a mahjong piece that will lose you the particular match, you get a "zawa zawa" above that piece so you know not to play that piece :D

rental magica is not bad in my opinion, still watchable. shifogumi is not bad too

dont know why I don't have the mood for watch gundam 00 after ep 7.... maybe the pace of story somewhat too slow compare to the old gundam

Gundams getting really good. I heard its going to be 25 episodes stop for 6 months then finish it off with the second season of another 25 episodes. Whats the truth to that?

I'm not sure how I feel about Gundam 00. It's kinda weird that 2/4 the 'protagonist' gundam pilots are batshit insane, unless they're going to turn into villains? At least the plot is progressing at a relatively quick pace instead of being dragged out like seed.

On that topic, I just recently watched seed (the first series), and although I don't think it was as bad as most seem to think, the flashbacks and recap episodes were ridiculous. There were like 5-6 full recap episodes out of 50. And spoilers: How many fucking times PER EPISODE did I need to see athrun give kira the damn bird, or nicol/tolle's death scenes? I mean it was seriously 5+ times per episode, those two characters probably had more airtime in the flashback of them being killed shown over and over, than they did when they were alive.

That's true. They are doing a "first season" of 1-25, then taking a break, then finishing it up with 26-50 afterwards.

Well, it seems like a duality issue as far as the Meisters go right now, which is pretty awesome. Lockon seems to have a twin, Tieria seems to have a problem with who/what he is (considering he referred to himself in the masculine, feminine and some other way that I can't remember), and as far as Allelujah goes.. he has a split personality with Allelujah and Hallelujah as he calls himself. One is more violent than the other, which seems to be coming from his backstory episode where he killed the kid. That was awesome. D: With Setsuna though, all that we know is he was a street kid that ran with Ali's pack killing to survive and what not, so I'm not sure if he's got any self issues as far as another self goes. I don't think they are batshit insane and moving to become villains, really, but it does make for an interesting story.

Also, just watched Minami-Ke 2nd and the 1st episode and apart from the decline in art and somewhat animation (I really liked those bible black moments, but overall it's still good) it is funny as it was before. definitely keeping up with this, but I guess they can't go wrong if it's from a manga (is it?)
