Macross F

-It wasn't Macross the fact (like 7) put any other name it would still work be same and same goes for Valkyrie.
-Macross F story is so cheesy and generic (average anime story that looked and sounded very good)
-our hero Alto a cross-dressing kabuki actor ( ....) why did we need this? just make him another pretty boy.
-no resolution to ending or alto and his dad.
-uses nostalgia no real identity (watch all macross you'll understand what i mean).
-lackluster finale battle (JPOP in spaceeeeeeeeeeeee).

I'll give it one credit the music was great i own the soundtrack but thats it and i can't believe i watched this series to the end.

Ps yes i dislike Macross F but if you enjoy the series then by all mean watch it and love it

What do you mean by "no resolution to ending"? Do you mean Alto didn't choose a girl? Otherwise, the "bad guy" was defeated, Sheryl's keeper lady was the one manipulating the Vajra to attack Macross so once she was defeated, Renka could work as a peacekeeper between the two species and they went their own ways. I mean, they didn't have the happy 15min to summarize everything and shows everyone smiling and being happy like some other anime (yet Macross F is the cheesy generic one) but just about everything was resolved.

I will say I haven't seen all Macross, I downloaded it all but I just couldn't get into SDF Macross. I watched Macross Zero and I enjoyed it though, don't see it any different than Macross F. Though I'm not sure how you say MF is cheesy and generic and yet different from other Macross. The intro to SDF Macross was "random boy is amazing at <skill> and unknowingly gets thrown into a big conflict" which is how sooooooooooooooo many anime are like. If anything they gave better explanations for Alto to be around than in most other stories with similar plots.

that demon guy is still alive? jesus christ it's been like a year since he 1st changed to that form. I used to keep up on Berserk, but it just slowed down way too much, and I lost interest.

yeah him and griffith had a pretty cool scene in which it shows you how he lost his horn. but ya, this manga is inspiring. been around since 1988ish and its still going strong. its just so inconsistent with its releases, lol.

Rofl @ K-on! episode 6. Yui's voice the entire episode was hilarious, especially during the concert. The fact that they did a little music video during the concert instead of showing them playing makes me think there might be a bit more music in the anime (I know, I know, I say this every episode) as they can just make a new music video for each concert they do. And the preview for 7 mentions another concert already!

I actually hate when the kiss at the end. This seems more realistic and I think it builds up their relationship even stronger if they decide to drop a drama-bomb and kill off Akira. : p
