On that topic, I just recently watched seed (the first series), and although I don't think it was as bad as most seem to think, the flashbacks and recap episodes were ridiculous. There were like 5-6 full recap episodes out of 50.

Another few things... Destiny's ending is basically a ripped version of Seed's ending. They have so many reused scenes, it's not even funny. Hell, even DESTINY uses reused scenes exactly as they were from Seed. It's just ridiculous.

So far, while 00 resembles Wing in some cases with the pilots, Gundam from the start... it has it's own different parts too. That and the openings aren't reused footage, which is amazing. D:

Well, it seems like a duality issue as far as the Meisters go right now, which is pretty awesome. Lockon seems to have a twin, Tieria seems to have a problem with who/what he is (considering he referred to himself in the masculine, feminine and some other way that I can't remember), and as far as Allelujah goes.. he has a split personality with Allelujah and Hallelujah as he calls himself. One is more violent than the other, which seems to be coming from his backstory episode where he killed the kid. That was awesome. D: With Setsuna though, all that we know is he was a street kid that ran with Ali's pack killing to survive and what not, so I'm not sure if he's got any self issues as far as another self goes. I don't think they are batshit insane and moving to become villains, really, but it does make for an interesting story.

Well Setsuna probably will defunc to another faction or something probably, and everything still needs to connect, Japan, Middle East and the Meisters still have little connection to each other atm. It'll be interesting how it'll all play out, and I'm hoping that they do it well they have a lot of material this time around to work with and I'm actually enjoying it a lot.

As revealed in eps 15 the 3 major powers have some sort of secret interactions with each other at the same time competing for dominance in power which might unfold into some sort of interesting plot. In addition to that what do the 3 new gundams have to play out? A few other questions that bother me is what does the princess have to play in the overall picture, as well as the couple, what overall purpose will they play as well. To me right now they're side characters with not much interactions outside of talking with Setsuna that's why I figure Setsuna will probably defunc as an arbitrary player, similar to that of the other gundam series but who knows, we'll see how things turn out.

Well, imo.. I don't think Setsuna will leave the current Meisters he's with now, but they will probably be the good guys of sorts while the new Gundams (Throne) will probably be the bad or something. I could be completely wrong and Setsuna could join with Throne, but who knows? That's why I'm liking this series, because of it's unpredictability. The Princess seems to be an ornament of the country though, not so powerful as she is pretty and a leading role. Setsuna isn't so much the main character to me as we just know a bit more of his backstory.. being an orphan after offing his parents and all for Ali's gang. D: I don't think there are really any "main characters", but that's just my opinion.

Also, Japan, the US, the Middle East, and the Meisters have little connection to eachother for a reason. The Meisters are there to just intervene with conflict. They are an outside group trying to stop war, that's what we know for now.. but we aren't sure of Aeolia Schenberg's(sp) real plan or anything. D: So it's all speculation for now. I do know I like where it's going so far. The characters are developing nicely into way more interesting characters than SEED/DESTINY had to offer.

I haven't watched destiny, was just talking about the first 50 episode series, and the reused scenes were what I was complaining about. I don't think it was great no, but I think it's worth watching at least.

Future Century: G gundam (Pretty much the Super Robot Gundam series)
After colony: Gundam Wing
After War: Gundam X
Cosmic Era: Seed and Seed Destiny

speaking of another SEED ripoff... Char's Hyaku Shiki turned into that super mega gaudy ass Akatsuki shit. all they did was take old mobile suits and threw wings on every appendage with lasers shooting out of every orifice.
Homages are one thing... but words cannot describe what SEED did.

D: Nadleeh's entrance though was kick-ass, even with the weird hair-like stuff. I just can't say how well this will turn out. So far, the first 15 episodes have pushed the Seed/Destiny shit into the farthest depths of my mind.

I started watching Nanoha last week week. Was about to drop the series because of the annoying pedo content, but the science-fiction plot twist caught my attention enough to continue watching. Turn out I liked the ending enough to downloaded the rest. I'm glad I did, because season 2 was pretty good. Nice animation, music, and ok story.

Now, I'm watching season 3 (ep 5) and got a question, is it going to get any better? I'm all for timeskip and other plot twist, but the anime is so boring. They wont shut up about useless thing, they have way too many characters you don't care about because they were never properly introduced and the plot doesnt seem to progress at all. It feel so different from the previous seasons.

They spread themselves waaaay to thin with all the new characters, so instead of good fast fights that flow well and are awesome you get segments of fights that cut to another fight and so on and that reaaaally kills the pacing. It's not bad to watch (especially if you have nothing else better) but you'll be let down after Nanoha A's. Not to say it's a terrible show, if you have the whole series then it's not a bad thing to watch but week by week really killed my interest. Art is a huge let down, animation is choppy and rarely gets better (some scenes are nice) and the story is well...kinda lame.

Nanoha A's is pretty much perfect IMO

Nanoha StrikerS is bad. Training training training... It got better at the end but still not really worth watching all the way... If you want to skip ahead to the major action, it's when the numbers attack section 6 and almost everybody got really injured and they kidnapped Ginga. It's about ep 16 or so.

(Yeah, the first 40% of StrikerS is garbage other than ep9(?) when Nanoha shot down Teana)

That's pretty much why I liked it. I loved how story constantly progressed without getting sidetracked, even if the setting was really simple. Many animes nowaday tend to get lost with uneeded plot twist that branches off everywhere, or that tie together only at the very end.

3rd season kept the annoying lolipedo content (I was kinda hoping that growing up boobs would stop that) and the plot still fail so far..no more emotion or anything, just generics stuff and villains.

Season 2's ending sucked, episode 11 of season 1 was the best in the series.

Not that I disagree about ep11 being the best, I didnt mind the ending. The book did die way too easily tho, not even a single conter attack, just got rapped and died in a lame way.
I'm just pissed they brought back Reinforce for no reasons as a chibi...way to kill anything sad in the last scene.


Gonna watch season 3 anyway, it's already downloaded and I never drop anime mid season. Just pissed me off they made a shitty 24 episodes seasons filled with fillers and useless stuff.
