holy fucking shit, that made me laugh. it doesn't seem so bad when it's animated but the still frames are amazingly shit. I guess with the art upgrade the animation is better as well?

in some places. in some places it still looks like the animating director had a stick up his ass. also, the producers calling the shots who made them scrap the original season 3 idea to go with this shit need to be shot.

Like 3 EP into gundam SEED now (yes I hadn't seen it before because I wasn't really heavy into mech. anime) and like 2 EP into Heroic Age, neither are really striking me yet, so I don't know, is either worth hanging on to?

I'm really desperate for new stuff, there's nothing on TV, no movies I'm seriously interested in, and watching Gundam 00 literally the minute the sub goes up leave me waiting 6 day 23 hours and 30 minutes for the next EP.

Currently downloading RahXephon and Le Chevalier d'Eon, am I missing something? I'm not a huge fan of the 'slice of life' genre, I mean yeah Lucky Star and Haruhi were win +1 but overall, not really my #1, more into the Sci-Fi, Horror, Mecha angle now and I just can't find anything current that's good, hell I even like the Shooter types, been through Black Lagoon, Darker than BLACK, and 1-15 Gundam 00 in the past month.

Edit: also in the past month I've downloaded, watched some, then trashed D-gray man, and Rental Magica

I like Heroic Age, although it's not something spectacular, it's not bad.

Rahxephon is very good, never watched Chevalier so can't comment on that.

Ever watch Kaiji? It's very addicting. Some other shows you may want to check out:
Utawarerumono - ancient war anime with a sci-fi twist + kind of a harem/romance
seto no hanayome - very very very funny
Bamboo Blade - it's a slice of life show (I know I know, but I really like it...) pretending to be a sports show

I assume you already watched Gurren Lagann but if not that's a must watch.

RahXephon was good, but I didn't like the ending. I watched Le Chevalier d'Eon too, couldn't get into it that well.

Yeah I've watched anything you'd think to recommend of the top of your head I think, I.E. Gurren, I'll check out the uwo one.

What's the complaint on Chevalier, as it's DLing very slow, any specifics help, since sometimes I'm a fan of strange things.

Also I looked at bamboo blade, watched the OP and ED for it, and just kinda decided it wasn't going to be for me a while back when Gulk was talking about BB hentai, lol

Edit: Guess I'll give Heroic Age a shot then, Shinsen sub only has up to EP10, how many are total? Thought it was a 13 EP series.
