Wasn't it done by the same guy who did School Rumble (that mean SR is finished)? Hated the art in the manga but anime is good. I was going to watch it just based on that, but I haven't heard great things. Still, batch torrents solve all issues.

Can someone tell me if K-ON! or Asura Cryin are worth it? I've been disappointed with the last few seasons of new anime series (besides season 2's / sequels). I have been watching Eden of the East and 07-Ghost, which are both ok so far.

I couldn't stand watching Asura Cryin past the first episode but maybe that's just me. K-On is okay if you're into a slice of life type show. Despite it's musical themed appearance, it was kind of lackluster in that category and I can name you three better animes easily off the top of my head if you're looking for a good slice of life anime: (Azumanga Daioh/School Rumble/Minami-Ke)

I didn't really like K-on. It had some funny moments, but there are many, much better anime in that genre.
