Can someone tell me if K-ON! or Asura Cryin are worth it? I've been disappointed with the last few seasons of new anime series (besides season 2's / sequels). I have been watching Eden of the East and 07-Ghost, which are both ok so far.

I pretty much dropped Asura cryin' now, kept watching it 'til like episode 8 but there's so many things not explained, it was still kinda ok but there's not many shows that I don't like. I'll probably finish it when it stops airing though, just because.

K-On was ok if you're looking for a Slice of life anime as said above, it wasn't terrible but not incredible either.

I've seen the RAW. To me, a huge fan of E7, I found *some* of it to be a disappointment, but seeing as I'm a huge fan of Eureka and Renton's relationship, I didn't really care about some of the stuff for the most part as long as their scenes were good. Won't spoil though, obviously.

As far as subs, I'm thinking Nanashi-Fansubs will do it. They subbed the series when it originally aired.

Gundam 00 Season 2 Dub is.. bleh. The editing however? Fucking SUCKS. They cut the entire epilogue bit after the ending credits on both episodes and I'm guessing the entire season.

Yes they did, I downloaded and watched a cam rip of 1.0 before the DVD hit Japan.

friend tells me that each showing has a forewarning that anyone caught camming the film will be fined up to 20 million yen and sentenced to a max of 10 years in prison, so i doubt anyone would be willing to take the chance

the 1.0 cam was from a showing in south korea, so you are probably gonna have to hold your breath longer than you've planned

Hayate episode was pretty good this week. It made me laugh a few time, and the part with Hinagiku were well done (if you like the soap romance in that show).

Nagi's dilemna about Haruhi was the best though.

I gotta admit, this season is sucking so far. I haven't kept up with anything but K-On, but so far all I really want to watch is Eden of the East (yay marathon). Is there anything else this season worth looking at? Haruhi is going to wait until I can download the entire thing.

I decided to catch up on Saki since I couldn't think of anything else to watch, really makes me want to learn how to play Mahjong, they make it look so exciting. >.>

I didn't even realize this anime was going to be 26 episodes. I thought it was only going to be 13 and we would have to wait for the next season to see the nationals, I am happy I was wrong about that.

Not anime related but Japan related so I figured I'd post it here.

Audition should be another word for pants-pissing-scary. Hands down one of the scariest movies I've ever seen. It is somewhat slow until the end, but it does not fail to deliver. A 1999 classic that everyone should see.

I cannot wait until Spice and Wolf II begins. Otherwise I'll probably just wait until people in this thread go "x is amazing!" since most of that stuff could be interesting but it really depends on how it's done, so a synopsis doesn't really do it for me.
