Anime Thread. [Prob not 56k safe]

I loved Darker than Black and Black Lagoon. <3

Gundam Seed isn't THAT bad though. I have the Special Edition (with a "special" scene) in it. It's pretty good. It's better than Destiny imo because half the animation for the first half isn't just reused animation. It'll take more than 3 episodes to totally get into I think, but it's not horrible.

I loved lagoon, I just hate how abruptely it wrapped up, no real sense of closure, I'd watch another season of it in a heartbeat.

Have you watched Fafner? The character designs are the same people who made seed. It's pretty good after the first 5 eps. I don't like the ending but overall it's very good.

I tried watching Fafner. couldnt get past the 3rd episode. and whoever it is that designed characters for seed/fafner needs to get fired. every single character from both series look exactly alike aside from hair and eye color. the anime felt like if Evangelion and SEED did the fusion dance, but one of them did the pose wrong and Fafner was the result.

that's cause the manga is still ongoing I think, they ended it early etc etc. praying for more but I doubt it...

The first episodes were ordinary at best, and people dropped it early. They actually replaced their script writer early on and the show got pretty good after.

Not sure how many people survived Shana 2nd season so far (the first half was so fucking horrible), but last episode was pretty damn nice for a change. I hope it will keep that pace for the rest of the season

I just download everything once a week using tokyotosho's search, unless I'm literally addicted to a particular series.

Shana II ep 15, EASILY best fucking episode of this season. Back to the roots of what made season 1 what it was, if it reverts back to the travesty that was the first half now i will be pissed.

I thought the first season sucked (I'm pretty sure I outlined why in this or another topic, but it should be obvious) and the second season just bored me to tears. I think I watched 2 episodes and had up to 5 downloaded. I'm skeptical about watching the second season at all, usually I just go with my instincts since people told me Shana I was good...

that stupid dorky love triangle going someplace yet? if he ends up with the other girl (yuki? meh I don't know) and not shana I'll be surprised.
