I've started Higurashi...it's a bit...anime-ish. Coming from a huge amount of Clannad which is a fairly "realistic" (aside from the fantasy elements) depiction of life, Higurashi is almost constantly doing things you do not do in live-action. I haven't completely gotten into it yet, but I'm only 3 episodes in and not much has really been answered yet, so it's not yet at a point I can fairly judge. I hope a few revelations come soon though.

saw Canaan and well dam they went all out on production value for this one but really hard to take the serious parts when all females (even backround ones) look like models and sorta dump (seems intended) but I enjoyed it so it's on my list to watch even if the two female lead seems like yuri lover lol

xxxHolic ova: It was pretty good. I liked the crossover part, even if I had no clue what was going on. I really wish this show had more sprite and less Himawari thought...

Hayate: The popularity context at the beginning was nice....the ranking is stupid, but seeing Hayate/Nagi's reaction was funny.

Haruhi: I must be the only person who think it's fine to repeat the same episode 4 time in a row...I agree it's stupid if they rush the rest of the show because of this, but I liked how it was done.

I hated how the 3 of them handled the loop thought, they could have asked Nagato more question, or tried different thing

No, there's only been 4 new episodes and the first one was rhapsody, not endless eights, so next weeks is only the 4th episode of the time loop. I'm not fully against this tactic, it does add to the fact that they're stuck in a time loop, but I think it should've finished last week.

I simply cannot wait for Spice and Wolf II, I'm already rewatching S1 to refresh myself on it all, Horo is wonderful and Lawrence is great too.

The novel had it end in 15,498th iteration, and the second ep of the anime was already at the 15,499th

Anyway, I had a good run with the series, but you know how strong feelings like love and hate is separated by a mere hairline and whatnot.

Between the last novel being a vaporware, and the anime being a fucking troll, I think I'll just go ahead and hate the series with every fiber of my being.

What did you expect? There isn't enough main story left to animate - last season covered up to almost the 2 most current novels.

Only thing left was the S novels (sidestories).

As for Index...after they do Railgun anime series they still have like 12-13 novels from the main story they can animate - they only covered the first 5 in the first series.

I'm not really upset i just would have loved if they made side stories into TV series but I'm happy the staff themselves love Shana (you could see it in the Index) and I'm getting more shana it either way
