Code Geass had its low, but the last episode is one of my all time favorite. I really hope they dont change it. I do want to know what happen to CC/Lelouch thought.


A new 2nd season could be interesting too...they were forced to change a lot of stuff to please the studio.

I hated geass' ending, filled with way too much shit being pulled out of lelouch's ass, and the episodes building up to it was pretty fucking lame too with plot points just randomly being concluded and characters killed without much of an explanation.

I mean come the fuck on, the whole world of C and emperor/marianne confrontation was pretty rushed at best and complete bullshit otherwise, not to mention that all those "knight of the round" that was hailed at the beginning of the season just die like little bitches to the deus ex that is suzaku/karen, and the rest of the royal family just got randomly nuked by schneizel, making their overall worth as characters pretty much nonexistent (not that i expected much to begin with, but they do waste a lot of scenes at the beginning of the series).

And it seem like by the second half, everyone took a fucking hit on their overall collective IQ. Shinku went from some genius strategist to some lolpawn of schneizel, and same pretty much goes for the rest of the black knight.

I'd say more, but I'd rather not recall the events in the season 2, and I'd fucking love it if they just strike the entire second season as a fucking mistake and start over from where season 1 left off, preferably without any of the new characters introduced on season 2.

The director said they had to change alot of stuff from what they originally wanted for season 2 because its timeslot got moved to a primetime one, basically they had to make it so you could watch season 2 without prior knowledge of season 1, thus the whole reboot thing of the first couple episodes and Rolo.

I still liked how it ended though, Lelouch dying (?) was pretty epic, plus I still think by killing his father he was able to obtain immortality and he (wagon driver) and C.C. are off having fun somewhere

Hell a Season 3 could take place a hundred years in the future if you assume they are immortal.

I think I'd like it more if Lelouch was just dead and that's the end of it, but its Sunrise and their shows eventually get sequels in some form.

bakemonogatari is the only thing worth watching.

Spice and Wolf II, Cross Game (most underrated show, give it a try), Saki (just because yuri doesn't mean it's no good), FMA, Canaan, etc

I'm also enjoying Princess Lover and Sora no Manimani but I watch more than shounen shows.

But the supposed official explanation was that Lelouch died for everyone's sin, so fuck that shit too.

I always took the whole Code Gease season 2 as so bad it's actually good approach and writers seriously want us to just accept shit on the spot like the infamous Gease lazer beam.

Whenever someone mentions CG it sure does. But that's to be expected. I didn't mind season 2, after a while I turned my brain off and just enjoyed the ride. It was good for that much.

I would be mad if I could only watch 1 anime series a year and CG R2 was what I picked.

I was only talking about episode 26. The 6-7 before were awfully rushed and made little sense, and 10-15 in China were fucking useless.

i'm just saying I hated how it ends, and even more so on the entire second season. But I guess it's kinda a given that you're not gonna get a masterpiece by using shit for material (unless you're into alternative art, at which point fuck you regardless)

You forgot the 23-24, or whichever is the charles/marianne episode. They wasted an entire plotpoint from the first season on a really retarded climax.

I mean geassing the entire collective consciousness of humanity was kinda awesome and all, but one would think that the nemesis of the entire series deserve a better end than dying to a bunch of mirrors before being dissipated into sparkles to some random plot device. Not to mention dead mother coming back to life only to die again for no good reason, fuck that shit.

The whole idea was good in theory. It was evangelion/Xeno all over, but that itself is not an issue. The execution was simply retarded and anticlimatic.

And yes, Marianne was such a waste of character. CC too in way..she deserved more screentime toward the end
