Ir wasnt bad, it was horrible ;x One of the few anime I absolutely hated. Story made no sense, and power level was all over the place (giant log destroying huge airship, samurai being weaker inside their mecha, noobs samurai reflecting space ship beam with a sword)

Could always hit AP, here's one based from Samurai Champloo http://www.anime-planet.com/anirec/646.html. I'm mostly uninterested in the genre so I can't give much pointers about it. Only real Samurai show I liked was the 4 OAVs of Kenshin a long ass time ago lol.

I play the odd visual novel that's suggested from my friend, though it's mostly his thing cause he understands JP a bit better than I can.

You can try Rurouni Kenshin it's pretty old school but I really enjoyed it up until the fillers started.

Hmm I'd also recommend Blood+ if you don't mind a rather slow paced start.

how many episodes did you watch? give it till like episode 8 at least and then see if you still aren't interested.

Yeah, I have the whole collection of Haruhi light novels, and just started reading Shana light novel as well. As for visual novel, I played a little bit of Higurashi (it's very long so it takes forever to finish a story...)

I think Millenium Earl is a really badass villain along with the rest of his "clan", but one thing that bugged me was how they struggle so much with like these wimpy akuma who I assume don't even come close to the power of Earl and his family. Seems like it's not going a slow pace but rather a boring one, and what I couldn't stand was how much Miranda started to whine in those few episodes and assuming from the opening she'll probably still play a part in the damn show. ; ;

Seems like you're still watching the manga part... The fillers should happen soon
