Oh shit eps 19, THE BESTEST EPS EVER IN RAHXEPON D: can't believe I clumped that in theresorry /wrist
First time I shed a tear for something I watched....
Does anyone know any Anime that is maybe like bleach or samurai champloo ? I gave Claymore a shot and so far I'm not interested in it.
Sword fighting? That kind of thing?Originally Posted by gandorf
I can't really think of any anime...I know some samurai-ish type manga...Vagabond, Amatsuki, Shin Angyo Onshi(manhwa). Would think of more but I'm tired
Uh.. Samurai 7 or whatever it's called? That's not bad.Originally Posted by Noobta
Randomly on the mentioning of Shin Angyo Onshi.... anyone have the OST of it? Or atleast the song thats played at the end when the boy finds out he's like actually a dead person already and shoots himself
God damn Hakaba Kitarou's OP is catchy.

I should have known betterI been watching all my anime on youtube and I just started to get into ep 8 and it isn't even up so now I'm left in suspense.
Ir wasnt bad, it was horrible ;x One of the few anime I absolutely hated. Story made no sense, and power level was all over the place (giant log destroying huge airship, samurai being weaker inside their mecha, noobs samurai reflecting space ship beam with a sword)Originally Posted by Akiyama
Was just a suggestion. =pOriginally Posted by Kaylia
Samurai 7 was badass if for no other reason than Kyuuzo :nikkei: (and his awesome VA whom I knew from Creed in Black Cat and Urahara in Bleach)
Basilisk was a pretty good show..ninjas instead of samurais though
I know it's anime thread here, does anyone here read novel/play some visual novel ?
Could always hit AP, here's one based from Samurai Champloo http://www.anime-planet.com/anirec/646.html. I'm mostly uninterested in the genre so I can't give much pointers about it. Only real Samurai show I liked was the 4 OAVs of Kenshin a long ass time ago lol.Originally Posted by gandorf
I play the odd visual novel that's suggested from my friend, though it's mostly his thing cause he understands JP a bit better than I can.
You can try Rurouni Kenshin it's pretty old school but I really enjoyed it up until the fillers started.Originally Posted by gandorf
Hmm I'd also recommend Blood+ if you don't mind a rather slow paced start.
As another topic, has another seen D.Gray-Man? I started watching up to 11 but it doesn't seem interesting enough to watch more than two episodes a day.![]()
how many episodes did you watch? give it till like episode 8 at least and then see if you still aren't interested.Originally Posted by gandorf

D.Gray-man is ruined by constant fillers. I've heard this has changed in the recent episodes but after putting it off, I have no intention of starting again. (I watched all the episodes until the Lulubell "arc", and was so disgusted that I didn't want to watch anymore)
Edit:
Yeah, I have the whole collection of Haruhi light novels, and just started reading Shana light novel as well. As for visual novel, I played a little bit of Higurashi (it's very long so it takes forever to finish a story...)Originally Posted by VZX
Haha after seeing Bleach and Naruto fillers I'm assuming it can't get any worse than those. - -'Originally Posted by octopus
I think Millenium Earl is a really badass villain along with the rest of his "clan", but one thing that bugged me was how they struggle so much with like these wimpy akuma who I assume don't even come close to the power of Earl and his family. Seems like it's not going a slow pace but rather a boring one, and what I couldn't stand was how much Miranda started to whine in those few episodes and assuming from the opening she'll probably still play a part in the damn show. ; ;
Gonna go ahead and second that... Ep.8 is when I got hooked even though I already had spoilers, it was still awesome even knowing what was going to happen.Originally Posted by Elcura
Seems like you're still watching the manga part... The fillers should happen soonOriginally Posted by Rivero
You won't see much of Miranda, at all.
