Azumanga Daioh, School Rumble (takes a while to get into it, but once you do it's worth it), Full Metal Panic, FMP: Fumoffu, FMP: The Second Raid, Dennou Coil, Kurenai, Bamboo Blade, Rozen Maiden.

That's all I can remember from the top of my head. If you like funny, definitely read Yotsuba&. Action I recommend Berserk and Claymore.

Did you ommited the most popular one? Gurann Lagann, Death Notes, Gundam 00, Macross Frontier...etc They are all worth watching.


Comedy? Seto no hanayome, Sayonara Zetsubou Sensei, Maria Holic?

Another anime that I never see mentioned anywhere that I loved is Oh Edo rocket. It was kinda funny, and story had some nice moment too (that anime was wrote by the guy who did Gurann Lagann).


Last Exile, The girl who leapt through time (movie), Dennou coil were all amazing as well.

Pretty sure I forgot a couple, but most worth a try imo.

I should try to get back into Oh! Edo Rocket. I lost interest after a while. Red Garden is pretty good, as is the always classic Cowboy Bebop. Black Lagoon is interesting as well.

Lucky star is comedic gold....



His and Her Circumstance is another older comedy.

How many episodes did you watch? I can understand why someone would get turned off early by the lighthearted nature of the show, or the main character (he is annoying), but the show got some nice part later once you get used to it. The villains had some awesome character development.

One thing I loved about that show was the art, I thought it was beautiful and original.


And yeah, Black lagoon was awesome. A bit boring at time , but well done in overall. I want my sequel already...
