Everyone (underwater sub included) steals the subs from crunchyroll so it doesn't really matter.

Underwater does make some good typesetting signs though ;o And convert the Chinese terms into Japanese.

I'm really loving Bakemonogatari. I remain steadfast in it being better than Sayonara Zetsobou Sensei.

I don't know.... both serve completely different purpose. I have trouble finding a fair ground where I can compare both series. If you guys can, feel free to do so, but I will keep orange with orange and apple with apple, and enjoy both.

The first one is pretty much all stuff you've seen before if you watched the whole original series (a few minor changes here and there), but I've heard in the second movie and beyond, the story changes greatly. I haven't seen the second one yet, since the quality is still "filmed in a theater." It won't be out on dvd for a little while.

edit: I enjoyed the first movie though, it has been a very long time since I watched the series.

Fight Ippatsu! Juuden-chan ended, I have to say it was an enjoyable series with funny and likable characters despite the writers can't seems decide on a theme if they want sexual jokes or drama stories (needed more of those) but they skipped my favorite Arc (Chapter 18-30) which built up the relationship between Plug and Sento but some stories of that arc were used just not exclusively on their relationship or not used all together like these two scene.......

Just finished the new episode of Umineko, I had almost given up on the series but it seems like it might just get better now. I was getting a bit tired of everyone dying over and over, was getting redundant, and Battle refusing to believe in witches.. What a complete waste of time.

So Haruhi over for this season or something? We had 28 episodes so far? Sucks KyoAni cheated and animated 8 extra episodes of Endless Eight =/

Really did like this past episode, it was much more Season 1 ish. They definitely spent a little more money rotating the camera around and used lighting a bit more this time.

Higurashi: The ova was kinda funny, not a bad one I guess.

Umineko: Good episode in overall. The scene near the end was freaky, and the whole episodes was interesting. I really wish they would move a bit faster, because 2 arcs in 11 episodes feel kinda slow.




I watched 25 episodes of Monsters over the last few days. I wasn't sure at first, but I'm enjoying the series a lot so far. The pacing might be slightly off at time, and there is many details that I would like to nitpick, but it's good drama/suspence in overall. It's great to watch a series that isn't plagued with fanservice and other anime stereotype occasionally.

All the newly created episodes of the current broadcast of Haruhi have been exhausted with the latest episode, leaving only further repeats.

Newtype has already published official schedules indicating the remaining four episodes are repeats from the original series, so unless the final episode is modified in some way (or replaced entirely), a prospect which Haruhi-ists will doubtless cling to until the bitter end, the “Disappearance” arc initially promised for the new series has entirely disappeared.

There is some speculation that continuations may come by way of a new PSP game or the entirely hypothetical Haruhi movie, but otherwise it seems the franchise will be dead for another three years, if indeed it ever revives

Most another 2-3 years break until they feel is necessary to revive it cause K-On is so ridiculously popular (more than haruhi btw) and I for one want something knew, like maybe a new FMP? or Mirai Nikki ?

K, so crossing mostly anything KyoAni does at this point, I'll just get my share of loli and fanservice from SHAFT.

I know but they have FMP christmas novel which is good enough for an OVA as I'm sick of their cute and slice of life but they are business so i'm not holding my breath as most likely K-ON season 2+OVA by mid next year.
