The loli vampire thing did seem to be the only other decent show though. I might give it a shot.

I'm not really excited that's it getting release so soon with Shaft excellent production budget.

I'm piss that Shaft MUST HAVE a one or two anime a season and thanks to that the budget is suffering.

Omamori Himari is an awesome manga, can't wait. I'll also watch Dance in the Vampire Bund and Ladies vs Butlers (have you seen the character designs for this show? O.o)

Another hilarious episode, I loved how the girls were just teasing each other and Ken couldn't get a break since the girls didn't want to get out the swimsuit just for his sack.

Is it weird that I think mahjong is better than kendo? I'm only 5 episodes in, but I like the setup of Saki a lot more than Bamboo Blade. BB is still enjoyable, I just couldn't wait to see more Saki and I think I'd be fine going through BB with long breaks in between the episodes.

This is what happens with English Dubs sadly. There are two main reasons why people feel that English Dubs are horrible:

1) Fans are more used to the Japanese Voice Actors
2) Anime in North America is targeted towards a different demographic than when it was aired in Japan.

The second one I think is the biggest issue. A lot of Anime's are aimed at 16-34 year olds. But when we get them here in NA, they re-package the material to be suited for children maybe 10 and above. Because of this, the tone for the voice actors tends to be less serious and more kid like. I am not the least bit surprised that Black Star's dub is high pitched and kid like. The Black Star in the Japanese Dub sounded like a kid, but a more serious, arrogant, headstrong kid. The one in the NA version just sounds like he's supposed to act cute for everyone.

A lot of people talk about Cowboy Bebop and Samurai Champloo being great English Dubs. They were, but when you look at it, they were targeted towards an older audience, and so the voice acting felt a lot more mature and close to its original form.

I just started to watch Toaru Majustu no index and i wanna know what relation it has with railgun?

Is it Index then railgun? is it 2 different "world" or is it happening at the same time?

In spite of previous announcements, the premiere streaming of the next episode of the Bakemonogatari anime will be delayed again from the planned November 2 launch due to production snags. According to the official blog for the series, the production staff for the series were still editing the unaired "Tsubasa Cat - Part 3" episode and encoding it for online distribution as of the evening of November 2 at 10:20 p.m. Japan Standard Time (November 2 at 8:20 a.m. EST). This new delay comes after the staff had already announced that the next episode of the series would be pushed back from October 28.

It's not about the robots though, think about the shape of a drill, and what a drill does.

The series does the same thing, starting from humbler than humble beginnings, and with each crank of the handle it spirals upwards and outwards, beyond anything you probably expected to happen based on the start of the show.

It doesn't just do the "Oh yeah, well I'm actually a bit stronger than your super strong form." 'Oh yeah! Well that was me holding back.' "Good, cause this isn't my super strong form." type of thing.

It's more like f(n) = e^n, starting from a state of negative power, confined, helpless, and rising in ridiculous leaps to utterly absurd power scales.

On another note, who here has watched Neon Genesis Evangelion and appreciated both mind-screw endings? That is, ep. 25 & 26 and End of Evangelion. Maybe this is a little old school, but I find I'm in with the crowd who count NGE as one of the greatest anime of all time because of how it ends. And this is coming from someone who didn't think Akira was all that.

And also someone who thought Angel's Egg was intriguing.
