After having watched Kampfer episode 10, I can finally say that out of all the episodes, this was the only one with some meat to it. I wish they had added a little plot advancement earlier rather than fill it with just fan service.

I have somewhat mixed feelings as well. I loved Code Geass, but I'm not sure if more would ruin the overall feeling of the series that I currently have. Will just have to wait and see I guess.

Well, the link did say rebirth... I'm kinda expecting something along the line of gurren lagann or evangelion.

Didn't they apparently have to rewrite R2 for the timeslot? Could be like... what they originally meant it to be, which playing off the Nightmare of Nunally manga, they're basically spinning off alternate universes.

Though, I'm unsure of the Lelouch of the Rebellion manga is ongoing now, or people are just slow as fuck translating.

The problem they skipping so much it's not funny as episode 10 is volume 8(of out 11) of the novel, that's tons of character development and plot down the drain.

If it's a sequel, it's doomed to fail. I would ruin the ending, and make lelouch's sacrifice worthless.

Nightmare of Nunnaly manga was so bad it's good.

Fuck yeah Charles' army of Knightmare Zombies. Zero is a power suited Lelouch/C.C. hybrid destroying Knightmares by hand, and Rolo is Lelouch's evil twin.

As far as the new series though, I'm gonna rage so fucking hard if it's Suzaku's Zero Gaiden series.

But yeah, if the series reboot or just actually pick up where S1 left off instead of doing the bullshit S2's pseudo reboot that outright ruin the series, then I'm all for it.

Dunno how I feel about CG, I kinda liked S2 if only because it was so ridiculous. But if they do it better, then I can finally tell people to watch CG with a straight face.

Hey, I don't disagree with this. Season 2 had terrible writting (except for the very last episode). I don't want to see suzaku as a main character either.

I had such high hopes for R2, but it ended up ruining them early on when it didn't continue from the end of season 1, and then just continued to smash them further as the series progressed. There were way too many characters and storylines that looked promising, but then ended up not going anywhere -- remember the montage before the final battle that attempted to wrap a lot of them up? Also, I know Lelouch's tactical skill and strategies were supposed to be magnificent, but in R2, they just seemed way too simplistic and the twists seemed to be the result of stupid commanders. The end also felt really lackluster. The king should have been the final enemy too -- after his epic plan and everything, the whole final battle just seemed insignificant.

Mai was perfect in Mai-Otome. She just came in to kick some major ass, it was great. Oh and Mai Otome s.ifr had the most badass of characters in either show.
