Anime Thread. [Prob not 56k safe]

Might not be a full series and I'd actually be intrested in seeing an OVA of somekind that goes into the lives of the characters after Lelouch's "death." Maybe some new figure appears and tries to fuck up the peace and the other characters have to solve it without Lelouch/Zero's help or so.

I wouldn't mind seeing R2 again picking up right from the end of the first season like it was supposed to.

You don't bring back a character who just sacrificed himself. Sure, banging CC for the rest of his life isn't much of a sacrifice, but still, it would be incredibly lame to bring him back to a "normal" life style after what he did.

Despite the shitty way they handled S2, there are certain elements I liked. Particularly Lelouch turning on the Black Knights and fighting against them, the reunion of him and Suzaku (and Suzaku not being such a douche, though in return Kallen turned into a douche instead...) and uhh... well that's all I remember.

Personally I'd like to see how else they would have handled the season, because it had such potential that was wasted with bullshit.

I personally like Rahxephon more than Eva. Maybe it's just I saw Eva when I was too young and didn't fully follow everything that was going on, but I felt Rah did a better job of explaining things and making sense (more or less~)

I guess it can be interpreted as either as is, but it's originally left to right, was an animation from one of the drama from the "A Certain Day of Summer" P3 drama CD Segami Daisuke (daichou24) did.

Second, while season 2 of CG wasn't nearly as good as part 1, it definitely had it's moments. First and foremost being the ending. To this day, I still say it's the best Anime ending I've ever seen. Second is Shirley. How that shit went down was completely epic. You may think me less of a man, but I will admit that shit got emotional. For that reason alone, I'm willing to accept Rolo's presence (How the Rolo situation ended up was pretty nifty too).

I kinda agree about Rolo. He was generally unlikeable, but both scenes you mentioned were nice.

Nearly every characters in season 2 suffered from poor writting. They were often out of characters (or completely retarded) in order to make the plot move in a particular direction.

Sadly, the only time I don't absolutely hate Shirley is when she was crying in the rain on S1 after Lelouch accidentally killed her father, and on her final soliloquy on S2

As far as Rolo goes, not even his "heroic" sacrifice makes me hate him less, he was a brother complex faggot to the end.

And as far as rebuild goes, it's on its second movie out of 4 planned. Word is 3/4 will be simultaneous release though.

I think 3/4 were planned as a single movie before the released of Evangelion 2.0 but with the success of 2.0 we'll probably see them as their separate movies.

Uh, that's not what I'm saying. Leloch wouldn't show up at all, cept maybe in the last five seconds at the end then disappear again just to show he is still alive or not and that he still watches over everything, he wouldn't return to his old life.

So-Ra-No-Wo-To will premiere on TV Tokyo on January 4 as the first release in Anime no Chikara (The Strength of Anime), a joint project of TV Tokyo's new anime department and Aniplex. The two companies is assembling "spirited" creators to develop original animated stories into a television series.

For So-Ra-No-Wo-To, Mamoru Kanbe (Elfen Lied, I''s Pure, Denpa teki na Kanojo) is directing the animators at A-1 Pictures. Hiroyuki Yoshino (Macross Frontier, Denpa teki na Kanojo, My-HiME) is supervising the scripts. Mel Kishida, the character designer of Gust's Rorona no Atelier ~Aarando no Renkinjutsushi~ role-playing game and an illustrator of several novel series, is creating the original character designs which Toshifumi Akai (key animator on Kannagi: Crazy Shrine Maidens, Fullmetal Alchemist: Brotherhood) will adapt into anime. Michiru Oshima (Fullmetal Alchemist, Boys Over Flowers, Gokusen, Magic User's Club, Legend of Crystania, live-action Pretty Guardian Sailor Moon) is composing the music.
