Oh that reminds me, the the DGz subs for Hellsing Ultimate 7 are perfectly acceptable. The only bothersome thing was that Seras was spelled Ceres, but thats just nitpicky really. Pretty good episode, too! Entirely Taichou and Seres, and possibly more blood than I recall at any other time in the series. lol

I hope it can figure out how to get the humor to work better in an anime form. The manga is far more hilarious to me than the anime was, but it has potential to improve on this with season 2.

I hope they play some fuckin' MUSIC this season. Seriously, even a slice of life can do better than that if the gimmick is about music. Well, I was just disappointed they never played the ED song, all their other songs were borderline retarded. At least the ED sounded good.

I hadn't read that. I watched the S1 director who has since left KyoAni saying that idea was mentioned when he was still with them and he didn't like the idea.

Saki was great though, guess I'll check out "true mahjongg" to see if I can like it too.

I didn't say Saki was bad just average and It doesn't use mahjong against foreign adversaries to settle international diplomacy (as crazy as that sounds it's freaken amazing).

With all of the fanservice, I really didn't think I was going to like Saki, but it definitely surprised me, and turned out pretty good. I might have to check out this other mahjong anime, Saki got me interested in it. >.>
