Anime Thread. [Prob not 56k safe]

I kinda felt bad about it all because it seemed that Nagisa won because everyone took pity on her >.> She didn't really have the most chemistry with Tomoya but she had the more consistent bad stuff happen to her.

I liked Fuko as long as everyone keeps away from her having any romantic involvement with anyone. As long as that's kept out of it I loved her in the cast. She was hilarious at all times and her role is quite endearing.

I personally loved Kyou though, I was so happy she was an OVA but was a bit disappointed in that it wasn't any After Story OVA and it was pretty much Ryou and Kyou drama, I wanted to see more Tomoya/Kyou interaction, not Kyou in her few moments of being the "weak"/crying/dramatic girl. But I did still enjoy the OVA, it just could've been better. I love the final scene in the OVA too. I enjoyed seeing her in After Story too.

But yeah get to After Story, if you enjoyed the first series After Story is 10x better aside from not having as much lighthearted comedy. It's one of the few animes that I think has had a real effect on how I view things/people/etc.

Also Character wise of the girls I'd say atm I like Kyou most, Kotomi next, and too hard to decide after that since they've all been cute, and funny in different ways, and none of the girls in clannad have fallen into cliche role of the beat-up lead cause he's with girl, which I am very thankful for, and certainly don't take it for .

Well he's not in school anymore, so Tomoya doesn't get to see Sunohara and the girls as often, so not going to be as much comedy without the comedic members of the cast there. Doing my best to not spoil anything, haha.

So much potential in the story so far, I really REALLY hope it doesn't let me down.

There's a Clannad After Story OVA that has a little Kyou arc. It'll ruin nothing to watch it before you finish After Story since it has nothing at all to do with it.

And I just searched Tokyotosho for "Clannad Kyou" and found a few torrents for it. I used P-BFs and it was alright.

Dunno if it was spoken about at all yet (probably was) but Hellsing OVA 7 was amazing. All of them have been great thus far, but I forgot since reading the manga a couple years ago how crazy and violent this part was. None of these have disappointed me yet. I really cannot fucking wait until the next one. I hope it's sooner rather than later, cause we get to see Alucard unleash hell. I cannot wait to see that animated!

Yeah, I completely agree. Loved how they turned near total despair 180 degrees into one of the most gruesome villain deaths that I can remember.

Thank you I was able to find the torrent for it few minutes by search "Clannad Kyou P-BFs", I'll watch it and probably edit into this post when it's done.

Was a bit too much Ryou/Kyou drama, but I still liked it pretty well, and the final scene more than made it worth watching. And I personally really liked seeing Kyou finale admitting her love for him, since I am a sucker for tsundere when they show their "dere" side. Wish they had a more after story one for her like Tomoyo got.

A good amount of popular H-game in japan would have worked without any sex if the amount of PS2 port is any indication.

Seikon no Qwaser Ep1 Milk Time

Pro's
-Very shap and good Animation.
-Good voice cast.
-Action with a purpose.
-the nudity and sexual themes were censored(DVD sales hello)
-This isn't the Next Queen's Blade ( I can see Gulkeeva crying)
-This series has an actual story and drama to it.
-Decent comedy moments.
-Good soundtrack


Con's
-The Plot I can describe as some Japanese wet dream
-Cliche female cast.
-Breast Milk is the new Piss.
-LOL moment in the action scene.
-Hard to take the girls motivation seriously when they Blush 24/7
-Ending Theme sucks.
-Heaps of panties shots and bouncing breasts.

OK I am stunned, they advertised this as the next Queen's Blade which it's not, I could tell what was going on during the censored scenes and quite frankly it doesn't hold a candle to Queen's Blade's ones.

Such an awkward position, I expected to hate this with passion like Queen's Blade and be done with it but it's a decent series, that will appeal to some people.

Giving it another episode and see were it goes, hopefully the sexual content is kept at a minimum.

To Seikon no Qwaser credit without the sexual themes, this could almost be mistaken for Just another generic action show.I did see Seikon no Qwaser EP 1 uncensored version yesterday, it did change my opinion turn from OK series to FUCK THIS SHIT(They cut 2 minutes of animation that tells you something).

Basically introduced the main cast, then was a pretty enjoyable episode, though a lot of stuff hinted towards the mysterious perhaps dark past from the war, since their fort was apparently a school that was larger than any of the schools in their country's capital which really odd, as that hints towards something caused the population of the world to drop somewhat largely, definitely watching this more. I wonder if it's going to continue it's light-heartedness for few more episodes, or whole series. Since it's history, and myths seems like they could go in a much different direction at any time, so no clue how the plot is going to end up for it.

Also watched though Clannad After Story 8, and it's still been great.

Only time will tell which path the series will take but the opening was nothing short of stunning, haven’t been this impressed with animation quality since Eden of the East and Canaan.
