Anime Thread. [Prob not 56k safe]

It's fine if he dislikes that kind of anime, but why watch it in the first place if you admitted to knowing what it was going to be like and then coming on here and ranting about it?

Anime is a form of art and although you may not like anime such as Queen's Blade or Qwaser, they are faithful adaptions of their source material - just don't watch it.

Althought, I dont understand why he watched these anime in the first place.

To see if it exceed my expectation like So Ra Wo To and Durarara etc, I absolutely love being proven wrong on a show since it'll make me enjoy it even more.

I talk bad about show because I enjoy it but I'll never shit talk on anyone likes a show I hate, I respect anyone's a opinion even if doesn't apply mine(I'll even recommend shows I hate, I know people will love base on their taste), I am surprised Gulkeeva is the only person that notices I advertise a show along with my shit talk, cause I know people will be pleased on the content,why you think I posted the Ladies VS Butlers nude pic? cause I knew I'll get a response, especially who were disappointed with the censoredship and if anyone else noticed I wasn't shy to post link to it for who asked me.

Lastly I usually stop talking about a show after first to third episode(if turns good) unless I re-watch it for extra content ie uncensored version.

Edit if you check my older post on So Ra Wo To and Durarara, you notice it was nothing but doubt but after the first episode it turned into praise, hey we are humans and it's a part of our nature, i will admit I make mistakes.

Edit 2 you seriously think people aren't happy to know Seikon no Qwaser sexual themes is up there with Queen's Blade? after what i said? (who loves those type of show).

If it makes you feel better, I too gave the first episode of Seikon no Qwaser a shot and found few redeeming qualities about it >_>

Also, not the first time I recall seeing an anime use Gustav Klimpt's work in an opening. Elfen Lied did too. Guin Saga's ending reminded me of it as well.

I haven't watched Queen's Blade but I do enjoy the Qwaser manga. Just because it has nudity and sexual themes doesn't invalidate it's story or characters.

To Seikon no Qwaser credit without the sexual themes, this could almost be mistaken for Just another generic action show.I did see Seikon no Qwaser EP 1 uncensored version yesterday, it did change my opinion turn from OK series to FUCK THIS SHIT(They cut 2 minutes of animation that tells you something).




Queen's Blade can burn in hell for all I care, along with Seikon no Qwaser.

Edit just take first review as the censored version, I am not wasting my time re posting my opinion on the uncensored version it'll be nothing but swears at it's content.

where'd you find the uncensored version anyways? obviously it's not on animesuki, didn't see it on anirena either. i would expect it to be on dvd much later.

After watching the first ep of qwasar, you can really notice all the bad editing and odd cuts for censoring. The plotline is at least decent, and the fightan scenes are ok for generic fightan anime. Planning on watching a few more episodes at least. I'd really like to see that uncensored version but its hard to find ;/

I was vaguely right about the location of the town and the country it belongs to, but it’s not France, it’s Spain. I am glad that the setting is based on real Earth geography because that does imply that it’s still set in our world - in a fictional, post apocalyptic future. I also really love the deconstruction of myth of the Fire Maidens, equating it to the tale of a nuclear bombardment. I think that really works as an analogy. B

Dammit I had feeling from I saw 14 this was going to go happen, and after 15 I practically knew how the result would be this way, and it still made me cry in 16 when she died, and Tomoya was wishing they never met . I really hope remain 8 episodes aren't so tragic.

Dance in the Vampire Bund Ep2 Manga, What Manga?

I don't think Shaft will knowledge the existence of the manga, the episode was 90% original material, with 10% manga material in between but it was a lot better than first episode, we finally have a proper introduction to the cast and this time Shaft wasn't afraid to show some skin you'll see the Loli Queen in her Nude Glory and the Sexual Tension .

Just watched though 23, and I can't belief it pulled that, right after it pulled at my heartstrings again with Ushio's sickness, that was just cruel dammit. Though I am glad it seems to be ending on a happier note than having his daughter die too.
Also 23 made me rofl so bad with their pranks on poor Kyou[her tsundere side show again then though was worth see it ], and Nagisa getting hit with the pan was just way too funny.
Also some how the Sanae's bread joke never got old, and always seemed make me laugh.

Also gogo 2000th post on a worth while anime.

Well, to give you an idea of why the story worked like that, the anime is based off of a video game. And basically in the video game you have a FFX-2 like system where you can work to 100% completeness. The first After Story end Tomoya wasn't at 100%, so the final episode was him "replaying" and getting that 100%, which ends in a happy ending for everyone (except the girls who want to be with Tomoya). So I'm betting that works for the answer to most of your questions.

Yeah the flashback episode was pretty win, and it was nice to see a summary and prequel instead of ending on that big dramatic note. When an anime ends all big and dramatic I always want more and After Story supplied more right away, I liked that a lot.

Interesting tidbit, Mina (the Vampire princess) isn't the seiyuu who doesn't do Horo. I thought it was her but Aoi Yuki is relatively unknown and hasn't voiced many shows.

I actually avoided watching the last 2 episodes of After Story for like 4 months when I saw the preview showing the daughter dying. "Fuck this, its pulling at my heart and going for easy tears!" I could see why it would do that, and glad it ended differently from that. Also both 'alt' OVA were good as well, though they make wonder if any chances of ever seeing english clannad game

Also Omamori Himari episode 2 was pretty notably better than the first episode in a number of areas especially with it actually having some comedy. So I plan to keep watching for now and it show it's pretty cute, and catchy ED theme:

I wish could say I also found it's second episode better than thei first though despite a rather interesting character did make his appearance the plot/pace of the episode made even something like bakemonogatari seem fast. I'll keep watching and hope it improves pacing next week.
