They aren't animating it because it's not finished in the manga (there are no railgun novels), also the author of the novels/manga is doing the writing for the new original episodes so it's his idea for whatever direction the anime is headed now (haven't watched the last couple myself).

While the episode was good quality, heartwarming, and enjoyable, I can't say very much happened at all except that we found the tank can play a certain song, and a bit more about Rio's past which I suppose was good for that episode.

K-on OVA!

Loved it. Not as much music as I'd have hoped (I'm not sure it's possible for this to even happen though) but it was as good as any of the regular episodes in making me laugh. I sure can't wait for season 2 now.

it is exactly how i felt.

The only thing i'm awaiting on now is Durarara and the 2nd episode of the Mahoromatic OVA, at least the fanservice there is actually comical so in my eyes it's pretty much acceptable.

The episodes are all over the place because that's the ACTUAL order of episodes from start to finish in order to get the story right.

If you had ever actually seen KnJ you'd know this is completely different.

The comment about the mom saying she approves... it really depends on how you interpret it. I saw it as the mom supporting her child's antics safely. Now if she didn't know the teacher I'd have a different opinion. With the mom revealing to Anzu that Tsuchida is a good friend, this lets her know that he's trustworthy... and already thinking that he hit on her she goes ahead and jumps to marriage (well known and common fantasy among young girls). In that situation the atmosphere would've been just as awkward if the mom told her no. Tsuchida would probably think she doesn't trust him to take the joke and/or she thinks he has/could have pedo tendencies.

Yes, it was a bit odd but the marriage joke had to have been used sooner or later. What a better time than in front of the kindergarten he works at (with parents leaving)? Would've been even more weird if it happened in private.
