I will agree it's way tamer than some of horse shit Winter season has in term of so called Fanservice, but you didn't notice the Light censoring in the bathing scenes?(ep6)

The series is censored, you can clearly see the bottom parts cut or zoomed in the upper parts.

I actually didn't watch episode 6 yet. I assume the pool episode was made just to contradict my last post, but still, episode 1-5 had very little fanservice by today standard.

"Finally" we're near halfway in the series at 43/100 episodes.

We've only got the Android/cell and Buu saga left so it's perfectly logical for it to be around halfway done with the episodes when we're now halfway done with the series.

RailGun Ep19 Meido Installment

For another plot filler, I thought this was a better episode than the previous one, since we are treated with more Index Cameos and finally the reappearance of Touma and his brief interaction with Misaka. I may dislike how the second part of RailGun turned into a Slice of Life, but the events are consistent, they agnolage past events like with Touma memory destruction and Dorm Mangers failed romance.

Props for J.C.STAFF for backing off the fanservice route on this particular episode, I expected to see revealing outfits left and right but it was rather Tamed and Misaka Dress was Stunning, without being revealing by Anime standard.

The official website for the television anime adaptation of NisiOisin's Bakemonogatari light novels has posted a new interview with director Akiyuki Shinbo and producers Mitsutoshi Kubota and Atsuhiro Iwakami on Friday. In the interview, Iwakami said that the staff plans to finish the second unaired episode, "Tsubasa Cat - Part 4," in the middle of next week. He apologized for the delay after noting that the staff had previously promised to complete the episode in the middle of January. He also confirmed that the episode will be streamed on the official website just as the first unaired episode had been.

As the 14th overall episode, "Tsubasa Cat - Part 4" will be included on the sixth Blu-ray Disc/DVD volume, "Tsubasa Cat Volume II," in Japan. The official website posted the cover image (pictured at right) for this volume, which will ship on March 24.

I like So-Ra-No-Wo-To, more than K-ON and even if characters don't grow, the staff were smart by creating an engaging world, were I feel there is something their, even if the main cast don't have any character development, everything else is interesting with war story, dying world and state of the society and the people the cast interact with.

Absolutely better than K-ON in those terms.

Anyone have some cliffnotes/summaries of the thread? 210 pages is a bit meh, but looking for good descriptive posts like Trixi and the OP had on the first page. Looking to read some more but there's so many and I really have no idea where to begin. Looking for some with a deep story and good character personalities (I guess?) I've only watched some main stream ones (Naruto/Bleach/Bebop/Trigun/Yu Yu Hakusho/etc..) so any links or whatever would be appreciated. Safe torrent links would work too.

I'd be lying if I didn't say that I was trolling your hatred for K-ON!. Disclaimer, I like K-ON! for its humor and I like the songs

. It feels redundant that most anime's have to utilize the same tits, androgynous-male characters, and fanservice to extract laughter from its audience. A good slice of life comedy is rare.

I'm surprised the styling went beyond KyoAni, and into A-1. Although, Kannagi has a striking resemblance to K-ON! However, Soranowoto is a near copy-paste of K-ON! Fun fact, all the moe blobs are just the same animation style with rounder faces, larger eyes accenting the top eyelashes, and no noses.

I don't like K-ON that's true but I don't hate people who like it, just cause it doesn't appeal to my taste doesn't mean it I will not recommend it to others, actually I know people hate show I like, for example RailGun but I will not defend the show if doesn't appeal to the persons taste or they hate the characters or the primes of the show lol.

Like my complains will reduce Kyoto to tears or stop K-ON second season from becoming a mega hit in both rating and BD sales.

Thanks for the last few post, a bunch of those look pretty good. I've heard of souleater, is that any good? I think it's pretty well known too, but reading some of the concept for it all doesn't sound appealing.

I've seen that girl with the flame bra so many times and I can't remember her name for the life of me...

Gurren lagann is good, and you should watch it. The girl is yoko, but that's not important.

Souleater was...it's like most shonen I guess (bleach naruto..etc). The animation was really good though, but the ending was average.
