I'm going to watch every single Tenchi episode and movie ever made! Friend of mine buys anime DVDs like they are going out of style. He has thousands. Lends them to me. I got all the Tenchis the other day! I really like Tenchi!

The First episode of Mayoi Neko Overrun was decent. The story wasn't anything great but happy enough that I will keep watching the series until it ends.
The best part of the series, is the really convoluted voice cast.

senkou night raid any good? i usually hate stories/movies/media about old history ;(
Just watched Arakawa Under the Bridge; did I miss discussion on this? Pretty much what I expected from a SHAFT anime... which isn't a bad thing. It's pretty funny, definitely bizarre, and the animation is top-shelf. Of course, we can look forward to episode delays, missing frames, and talking heads later on, but for now it's quality stuff.
Arakawa was really funny, and had the usual SHAFTness going on but it kept me interested the whole episode. First the Villa scene, then the mayor had me dying. I really liked the last few SHAFT shows so I'll definitely be keeping up with this one.
Well... I somehow finished Index... It did technically get better. It went up from Why-am-I-watching-this to just regular old Terrible. I just be a masochist or something cause I find myself thinking "Since I finished Index, I might as well suffer through Railgun as well". /sigh
Honestly if you don't find something enjoyable in the series, just skip it. I'm only 1/3 of the way through Railgun but it's less action and more yuri than Index, not a whole lot different.
Oddly enough the thing I enjoy most about the series is the concept of sci-fi science and magic, even though that's not really the main focus of most of the episodes, lol.
Railgun is certainly one of the funniest (and I mean wtf-funny) anime, there is
from last month and a little spoiler
Spoiler: show
I actually wish they had gotten a lot more into the sci-fi aspects of the show. For Animes specifically, I've trained myself to have a very high level of suspension-of-disbelief. As such, I'm fine with magic and sci-fi aspects of shows so long as they remain consistent with themselves. The mechanic behind Accelerator's ability was fucking awesome. They even managed to think up a couple creative uses for it. I came up with a few applications of his power that probably would have worked better for him, but hey, I'll make allowances for him not being omnipotent. Also, I think his character had more depth than any of the others despite only being in 2-3 episodes.
Spoiler: show
Oh, and they should have explored more into other people's abilities. (though this might be what Railgun is about? I'll find out, I suppose)
If I had to name what I think it would take to fix the series, I would say explain the setting better, and explain the characters better. The show really needs more depth all around.

List of the Shows that are confirmed for Summer Season
Spoiler: show
Halfway through Railgun and I have to say I'm enjoying it more than Index. Maybe I'm just forgetting some of Index, but it's a strong series for my tastes. It's not really "random" fanservice, when it's there there's usually some reasoning. And Kuroko isn't as annoying as I thought she'd be considering her personality/obsession.
Also about the Touma powers thing from a few posts up:
Spoiler: show
Touma's arm can do more than what was shown in the anime. I forget when it was said but I think it was during the last few minutes. I mean I don't think he'll have godmode (close to it though), but he should be able to do more than just absorb magic/espershit/etc.
If you think about it like this was Mx0: he should be able to send that magic right back at them, use other parts of his body to block/absorb (shield thing too?) , and perhaps even change it into something else (the M0 couldn't but Touma should be able to).
Edit: I haven't read the novel so I don't know if that comment from the anime followed the story or not.
Uggg... I still think the designs for the 00 movie look terrible. Setsuna's not as much, and Tieria's I'm holding out that the giant backpack is gonna serve a purpose, but the other two look like they had some ideas for components, and then just stuck them on the Gundams without even trying to make 'em look reasonable.
Surprised you notice that without reading the novel, yes Touma has to be at his limited to activate a part of his ability but no one knows what will happen when Touma ability is fully unlocked, but Aleister does.
the Index Anime does follow the Novel more closely. RailGun does as well with the manga, only a lot of the dark and depression material was cut for light heart stuff, for example Kiyama suicide attempt after the Birth of the Fetus.
Spoiler: show
I highly recommend reading the Manga(if you enjoyed the anime) it's superior to the Anime, if you don't want to Read the Level Up Arc, just skip all way to Sister Arc

New Durarara OP was decent, I thought the ED song/animation was terrible though.
I like the new opening more than the old one but I agree on the ending it's terrible.
