Anime Thread. [Prob not 56k safe]

Finished Bakemonogatari up to current. [gg] subs were pretty decent. Turns out the one I watched streamed was from someone else and was horribly done. The series itself is pretty decent, but it doesn't suit me as much as it could. I love deep anime, so usually the heavy dialog is very much welcome, but Araragi is far too lacking in wit for my tastes. But even so, it's interesting enough for me to finish at least.

I wonder if there's gonna be a movie or something dealing with Araragi's backstory. They went back and told the Hanekawa story, so I assumed they would go back and tell Araragi's too, but it seems like they have too much left to resolve in the last episode to make it work.

Araragi is just a catalyst for these crazy situations. He doesn't need to be funny/weird/awesome in that usual sense, since everyone else usually fills the void, he's the bridge between us and the weird shit. Usually. I like Araragi, especially during the Mayoi Snail arc.

Durarara Ep14 was awesome, Shingen was hilarious from start to finish, the guy is big tool as Izaya. Best scene has to be the shower scene, GOD the *AHHH* sound, I'm going to have nightmares.

Checked out fairy tail, not too bad, downloaded all the episodes and reading up the manga also

i tried to watch fairy tail, i gave up after 3 or so episode, it's just too corny for me. they try too hard to be cute or whatever they are trying to pull

Just watched Baka to Test straight through. It was fantastic from start to finish. Some of the references to other Anime had me rolling... Best comedy anime I've seen since Fumoffu, possibly better.

yeah first few episodes was kinda blah, it got to decent action and constant fighting later on (the mangas better sort of)

Enjoyed Eden of East movie 1, the ending was a little "wha?" to me and my girlfriend but then the ending music was ridic. Glad they kept the same group from the TV series end theme

Same here, loved it. Though I think Fumoffu was funnier, just because the usual setting wasn't pure comedy while this was.
