Angel Beats Ep4
pretty good episode, the pacing and direction was solid in this one. Yui was the obvious star with her Crazy Antic's and The Love/Hate relationship she has with Hinata.
New OP (Thanks Tenka Blog)
Make sure you watch until the end it includes Yui getting choked and TK's only dialogue in whole episode ; _ ;

Anyone know if Commie is a good sub group? They apparently released DRRR this week and BSS has yet to release it. I saw some screens and one looks like Sonohara buttoning up her shirt and that douche bag teacher leaning over her. I really hope he didn't do anything to her![]()
was fine for me but either you have to stretch it or the default aspect ratio is 4:3, i didnt really notice a lack of quality but i have bad eyes.
It's not like you've any choice, BSS, Frostii, and gg have all lost their DRRRR translators. Or, at least, have gone into revolving door mode.
Amagami SS(Summer Season)
Produced by AIC.

Eclipse being dead is very QQ worthy...
Subbing politics always make me laugh when I hear about them. Shit's serious son.

Fuck Eclipse can't die, whose going to do Shana S3/ZnT S4/Index S2/Insert JC Staff or Key show/AKA every show I love![]()
I just rewatched Bakemonogatari 14 randomly and I'm reminded of how much I really love it. I may have asked before but does anyone know similar anime, the same creator, drawing team, style, anything? I really like certain voices too, like Hachikuji, Neko-Hanekawa and Senjogahara, in that order.
Pedophile!
I dunno anything that matches Bakemongatari's style, I'm sure Zilong could refer you to the author's previous works (which I doubt have been made into anime, but you never know). The style/animation is Shaft, so watching any of their previous shows is generally a good idea. Maybe Katanagatari? Dunno if it's the same author, but the name is similar enough, lol.
Maria+Holic, EF - A Tale of Memories, EF - A Tale of Melodies and Sayonara Zetsubo Sensei are a few I can think of, I don't think anything Shaft did before EF was any good though. All the shows have the same feel as Bake, some make more out of the low budget style than others do.
Hachikuji is easily one of my favorite if only because of the mispronunciation and the way she talks. 'Sorry, I stuttered', haha. Neko-Hanekawa is my favorite well, for obvious reasons.
I have Katanagatari downloaded up to episode 4, probably going to watch those yeah. What's with the '-gatari' on their anime names anyway? Does 'Bakemono' mean something like Katana does?
Gatari just means "story" I think, remember seeing Katanagatari meaning sword story on the wiki page, and Bakemonogatari was monster story.
edit: Even though they both end with that, they aren't really similar in any way. I enjoy both of them, but for different reasons.
They are both very similar mainly because they tell the story through talking... sooo much talking in both of them but theyre enjoyable because the stories are pretty well written.
No love for Nadeko's voice actress? Kana Hanazawa. She did Kobato, Suou (Darker than black), Anri (Durarara).
The delivery and animation style of pastels + Computer Animation + long dramatic scenes that pan across slowly is very Shaft style. Currently a funny show called Arakawa Under the Bridge is voiced by the same actor (Hiroshi Kamiya)and feels eerily the same as Bakemonogatari.
