awesome episode, absolutely hilarious with Yaoi jokes and Ping Pong battle that was epic I exploded with laughter, especially the part were they broke the fourth wall near end of episode.

I feel guilty, but I really want to see that SSF4 OVA. The one released for the original SF4 was fucking awful. Why they bothered to fund a movie when whoever animated it had the worst style imaginable for an SF is beyond me, but supposedly they went with a more notable company this time around; the trailer looked awesome, but again the dubs were terrible lol

I think Madhouse did the SSF4 OVA, but I can't remember where I read it. If it's true, at least the animation and art will be nice. SF doesn't exactly have the strongest story.

Togame sounds like, and reminds me of, Taiga from Toradora! a bunch, I really like it.

I don't quite get the eye though, is it just when she's planning something or is it like that faggot eye from that one episode of Code Geass I watched?

Finally, am I understanding right that they only release one episode a month? Dang ><

I searched all over for what that was, and all I could really find was that it was a sign of her determination or something. After seeing stuff like Code Geass, you really want to think it is some super power, but it isn't. =(

Yeah, once a month. =/ But, they are basically double length episodes, since I think they are 50 minutes long each.

I enjoyed Katanagatari so far, even if not much happen. The only issue for me is the main character's stupidity that get old pretty fast. That an the episodic content.

I always assumed she was blind on one side, and that's it. I really doubt she has special power. >_>


And yeah, 1 episode a month kinda suck, but since every episodes have some closure, it's not a hard wait.

Wow episode 4 was just weird. The preview during 3 showed them fighting the 4th sword guy and lots of cool shit but they didn't even do it, it was all about the sister and the Insect squad and all we got was them reminiscing about the battle on Ganryuu island. I don't know how I feel about that, sure it was pretty epic that this little girl was so strong but at the same time it felt kind of cliche and I felt cheated expecting one thing but getting another.

I know im a few months behind on this one, but does Kara no Kyoukai have anything to do with Tsukihime on the whole, or is it one of those "same universe alternate reality" Type-Moon things? Im trying to read up on it, but without knowing anything about this series or characters, its hard distinguishing if any of these characters are the same.

The events of Kara no Kyoukai are set in an alternate/parallel universe (if I remember correctly).

Kara no Kyoukai were novels written by the scenario writer of Type-Moon before they did Tsukihime/Fate etc. So there is obviously going to be some similarities.

I think the magicians/teachers from both are related or the same person from both KnK and Tsukihime though.

Touko is Aoko's sister. Aoko is the one who gave Tsukhime Shiki the Mystic Eye Killer. Arcueid later reveals in the hotel that the glasses were created by Touko but were stolen by Aoko.

Thats the extent I thought it might have had, characters interact between FSN and Tsukihime somewhere down the line, but no direct involvement within the series.

IMO, Rakkyo is more of a prototype of Tsukihime than anything else

If that wasn't obvious enough with the main character, there is the whole Azaka being a spitting image of Akiha, down to her brother complex and fire magic
