What player and codecs do you guys use to watch anime? I'm catching up on Bleach and for some reason my player stutters for 10 secs when I 1st start any video or if i move the slider.

I'm using Careavc, CCCP, and HMPC. WMP doesn't have any sound for some reason dunno if its a related problem.

CCCP is all I ever used until I got Windows 7. The Windows Media Player in Windows 7 has had no problem playing anything I've tried so far.

Isn't the dvd/bluray supposed to be enhanced/extended? So that wouldn't really work.

Someone on /a/ earlier said they tried using the script, but it started to lag behind by 15~ seconds about 8 minutes in.

CoreAVC, CCCP, and MPC-HC (32bit). I only use CoreAVC for 1080p videos though. CCCP/FFDShow seems much speedier to me for normal res (480p/720p).

I just use MPC-HC on Win7, rarely ever have issues. Depending on the encode I video might not update immediately when using transport controls, but I chalk it up to waiting on a keyframe. /shrug

win7 x64 using the thing cccp player/codex + ffdshow

I remember the stutter on my winXP, mainly happened when I had a alot of stuff open though... happened at times on my older videos too.. never could figure what caused it but it was pretty dam annoying ;/

No longer have the issue on win7, using the exact same player+codecs.

Katanagatari was so good. Poor Togame finding out her catch phrase was wrong, haha. I really am enjoying the characters a lot though, great anime all around it's a shame it only comes around once a month, I want it all now.

Started watching Ichiban Ushiro no Daimaou

For an ecchi animu, I'm actually somewhat enjoying it. Korone probably has a lot to do with it, though I really hate anything involving Keena since she's such a one-dimensional fanservice character. I suppose I should just grin and bear it, tits anime need tits to sell, and just enjoy every single scene where Korone pops up. Episode 6 had me laughing so hard when Korone went through all the archetypal moe to try to get to Sai.

I can only wish they go for Korone ending...
