A very good finale, everything came together and everyone had little part to the over all closing arc, I wish Izaya got more punishment, but it was satisfying seeing his left eye all fucked up.

Shizuo takes the cake for most epic throw and highlight of episode, seriously how strong is he? that sign pole probably weight 500KG.

Brains Base next project If i remember right, is a Fap-trap series /facepalm. and their was no Season Two announcement after the ending credit ;/

Yeah rewatched it a bunch...so good. Not to mention the episode that follows it is epic too, I never got this 'epic' feeling from the random bits of the first anime-original adaptation on Adult Swim, doubt I'll even watch it after I finish this. It's too good to taint.

It wasn't that bad in the first anime. Most death scene got me going, mustang vs pride, and a few others part were decent.

But yeah, too late to watch it now after the 2nd one.

So, Durarara was pretty epic. Izaya is fucking badass, his conversation with Anri went exactly as I wanted it to, and his encounter with Simon was epic. Shizuo and the traffic cop also in top form. I love this show, it's a shame to see it end.

I dunno, I loved Durarara, but felt the ending was lacking closure imo. I liked how everything resolved more or less between Mikado, Kida, and Anri, but felt Izaya's story never really got a conclusion. He still has Celty's head, and although she's no longer actively searching for it, I can't help feeling there should have been more there. Also, while I'm glad Shinra and Celty got a happy ending, it really felt like there should been more, especially with his dad who didn't really do anything. Also the traffic cop who really didn't seem to merit his spot in the Op. Glad we got to see Kadota and Simon being bad ass as always though, which was awesome. Overall, would definitely recommend it, but wouldn't be surprised/mind if a sequel was announced sometime soon~

Yuri trying to cover up getting over her issues during the first part was cute, and a great twist for her character, as was seeing her and Kanade being friends. I thought the series had a really good progression, and while I wish we had gotten more episodes that showed back story for the various characters, I can't help but wonder if that would have ruined the flow by having too many single episodes that focus on sending a single character off. The episode where Yui left was definitely one of the best, but too many would have weakened its appeal, I can't help feeling.. Anyway, the whole graduation process was a humorous and enjoyable way to wrap things up and I'm gladded they didn't have the last ep as the conclusion (originally I thought the last ep would have made a good conclusion had they cut out the part where Yuri wakes up). Felt bad for Otonashi before the credits, but the final scene between him and Kanade made up for it.

Once again.. Shiina's dogs made me bawwwww :3

I didn't even realize this was the last episode already. =( After watching it though, I do feel it didn't really end a lot of stories, but I don't think the manga is over yet? I did enjoy the anime overall, but wished there was more, and hope there will be in the future.

edit: I guess it is a light novel, not a manga. I wonder if it is being translated anywhere, I might have to find it.

Couldn't agree more. Traffic cop and Shinra's father were near completely worthless, Izaya's still in the same position as before and the chick w/ the brother complex (forgot her name) hit a dead-end plotwise since then end of the first season. She could have been dead/in a coma and her character wouldn't have changed the plot. Simon remained a "sleeper" badass and didn't do anything really. Mikado and Kida have a tearful reunion where they express how sorry they were for drifting apart, and then they fucking split up a week later w/o a word; wtf? Still no closure between Celty's body & head...
Works as a season finale, not as a series finale imo.

The August issue of Kadokawa Shoten's Monthly Gundam Ace magazine is announcing on Saturday that a new manga version of the Mobile Fighter G Gundam television anime series will launch in the next issue in July. G-Gundam's original director Yasuhiro Imagawa is scripting the tentatively titled Kidō Butōden G-Gundam the Comic (Mobile Fighter G Gundam the Comic), while Kazuhiko Shimamoto (Blazing Transfer Student, The Skull Man) and his Honō Production studio are drawing the actual manga.

With G-Gundam in 1994-1995, Imagawa (Giant Robo, Seven of Seven) co-developed the first Gundam television series that was not set in the Universal Century timeline of the original Gundam anime. It re-imagined Gundam's robotic mobile suits as mobile fighter units that battle in tournaments every four years. Shimamoto had collaborated on the character designs for the G-Gundam anime.
