Yuri trying to cover up getting over her issues during the first part was cute, and a great twist for her character, as was seeing her and Kanade being friends. I thought the series had a really good progression, and while I wish we had gotten more episodes that showed back story for the various characters, I can't help but wonder if that would have ruined the flow by having too many single episodes that focus on sending a single character off. The episode where Yui left was definitely one of the best, but too many would have weakened its appeal, I can't help feeling.. Anyway, the whole graduation process was a humorous and enjoyable way to wrap things up and I'm gladded they didn't have the last ep as the conclusion (originally I thought the last ep would have made a good conclusion had they cut out the part where Yuri wakes up). Felt bad for Otonashi before the credits, but the final scene between him and Kanade made up for it.

Once again.. Shiina's dogs made me bawwwww :3

I'm still not sure if I even liked Angel Beats or not. It was okay since there really weren't many other good anime this season, but I'm not quite sure I would ever recommend it to anyone in the future.

The ending was fitting. Finding out that after Otonashi died, his heart actually was donated to Kanade was an interesting connection. Such a sad ending (even with the after credits scene) though, but I guess that is to be expected from Key.

Angel Beats ending was confusing. Kanade got Otonashi’s heart as a transplant, OK that explains the Angel Beats title, but how the fuck did she end up in the that world before Otonashi. the graduation ceremony went way too long and I didn't laugh once, all i was thinking thank god TK wasn't involved in this mess.

I don’t think the series as a whole is terrible, it had it's moments(namely TK) and unpredictable plot kept my interest. I hope the Extra episode will at least give me some satisfaction how everyone ended up in the real world.

I didn't watch the show, but it's pretty common for purgatory place to be timeliness. It might be the case here.

Honestly, I didn't care too much for AB. The last few episodes (and Otonashi's memories) made me like it as much as I do.

I just thought of this now, but maybe Otonashi's delayed awakening had to do with the fact that his heart was still "alive" in Kanade or some shit.

BLACK LAGOON Roberta’s Blood Trail Ep1 (TV Edit)

Very awesome episode, man it ended so quick, though it to be expected since it's an edited version but I'm surprised they kept some of the bloody scenes, I went "Bloody Fuck" when the guys balls got crushed+stabbed by the Maid and you see a sea of blood between his legs. July 17th can't come soon enough. my only complain is the new Remixed opening, it sucks.

Yeah, 2 DVD episodes. According to AnimeCouncil it's episodes 12.5(so stuff that happened during the 6 months) and 25.

So a friend showed me an anime called Detroit metal city... pretty funny/random/crazy anime, only saw one episode though but it had everything from S&M onstage, to humping tokyo tower so... going to have to watch the rest!

Definitely recommend. I think I watched the whole thing in one go because it was great. Laughed a ton.

Yeah it's an awesome series. I laughed my ass when he wanted to tell his love interest(forgot her name) his true feelings "Let me Rape you, you fucken Cow" LOL.
