Anime Thread. [Prob not 56k safe]

I'm going to ask this here since it seems likely someone would know. I once stumbled onto a forum post somewhere on an anime forum that walked you through exporting frames from a video and compiling them into a gif but I apparently didn't bookmark it. Does anyone know how to do that or can point me in a good direction? Google is failing me hard right now.

edit: And while we're at it, does anyone know what all these fansub groups use to do their encoding and stuff? It always interested me but I don't even know where I could go to read up on it.

I did this in illustrator with i think import files as frames in an animation. at least I think it was illustrator; it was an adobe one I know that. I don't remember much about the whole thing, sorry. google from there I guess.

None really stand out as amazing this season. I'm watching a bunch, but most likely wouldn't recommend any of this anime season to anyone after this season ends.

Highschool of the Dead is about the only one that I might recommend, but if you don't like fanservice, it is definitely not for you. The rest kinda started off interesting, and eventually became average.

... kinda meh, tbh, the action is there but just doesn't seem as emotional as some of the previous ones, maybe it's cuz it's only the first half of the last chapter but...

Encoding: x264. Accept no alternatives.
Format: h264/aac [flac if from a BD source is acceptable]/ass in mkv

mkvextract does what you're looking for. Actually you should have it already cause you're already using mkvmerge.

Ah, thanks! After updating mkvtoolnix I even noticed there's GUIs available for extract and MKVExtractGUI worked really well, that's perfect.

Now I can edit in stupid stuff to my anime to make myself laugh too :B

Hmm Rainbow by any chance? it's a last season anime. It’s bold, creative and incredibly intense. despite being cheesy for first few episodes. it gets very depressing and bloody at times.

I was half expecting that fake list again lol. But as for what I'd watch, Bakuman for sure. Maybe The World that God Only Knows as well.

Ironman looked amazing with the trailers, but from the newer stuff I've seen it looks terrible... I'll give it a chance because Madhouse is cool and I like Ironman, but not expecting much.

Oh shit, just noticed Arakawa 2, definitely watch that. I don't recognize anything else.

2nd pic from the bottom on the far right column; The 1st thing that came into my mind was an older Tsukasa from .hack
I miss that show... which is really surprising because it had hardly any action in it.
