I wasn't shocked with the Ero-fanservice, since I read the manga, and saw this coming a mile away. like Souj's saying this trend in animes isn't going to end anytime soon, since companies are trying to 1UP each other with extreme Ero-fanservice. hell Look at KissXsis and Seikon no Qwaser far worse than H.O.T.D in my book.

To be Fair, I don't think the Index Season 2 will be a to up bar with the Novels, I'm positive J.C.STAFF will keep the fanservice parts but how will they handle the blood and gore is beyond me, especially with Volume 13, since it's gruesome.

few examples

-Accelerator breaking both hands of a female hound, then shoving a Shotgun down her mouth, pulling the trigger causing her jaw to blown off sideways, which causes her to shit and vomit from the pain(She's grabbing onto her mouth with both her broken hands as well).

-From the same scene, a part of her flesh gets stuck into Accelerator's cheeks, so he starts chewing it, then looks back at her, while giving a face like he's having Sexual-intercourse, telling her *your face turned to something good*, then he starts to kick her in the stomach, and The final nail to her coffin, Accelerator punch's the *pressing machine* to crush her bones.

Yeah this scene will totally be in Season 2 >_>

Ookami-San Ep7

I had a fun time with this episode, The double date was a fun distraction, after last weeks drama fest.

-Ringo's Devilish side, is always a great.
-Ryouko's amnesia was unexpected and yes cliche, but a fun turn of events, since it nice to see how cute, and innocent she used to be in the past.
-Ringo's shocked face was my highlight of this episode.
-the last part of the episode was great, it was nice to see Ryoushi’s standing up to defend traumatize Ryouko again, even if he failed at it.

I will give J.C.STAFF credit, they now when to hold on the fanservice and character design, but Ami's design looks very plain, compared to her awesome Novel design, which why I didn't care to talk about her, but I toss my hat to J.C.STAFF, they didn't go the easy route on her.

Unlikely they get to volume 13 in S2 unless they skip a novel (like they did in ZnT). They only covered 5 or 6 volumes in the first 26 episodes I think.

Just use this website, for the English translations(incomplete translations). if you can read Japanese. http://www.jcafe24.net has links for the whole 21+ Volumes, Railgun mini novels(included in BD/DVD of Index anime, and another story in the 5th volume of the manga), and Kanzaki SS Mini Novels(included with the RailGun BD/DVD).

Volume 7 starts were the first series ends and it's completed. Volume9+10 are translated and their own continuous storyline. Volume 8+11 are their own single Arc so not reading them won't cause much confusion. Volume12+13 are their own continuous arc but last part in Volume 13 hasn't been translated from what I've seen.

They covered the first 6 volumes in 24 episodes in the first season, but of course ending at Volume13 is just a guess, since Season 2 needs an epic climax and it doesn't get better than it. We'll see in due time how J.C.STAFF handles the Index storyline in second season.

I'm Looking forward to this adaptation, as soon as I found out Yamauchi Shigeyasu is directing I was on board. Of course does J.C.STAFF have the budget, to fund the artistic qualities of the source material.

From my understanding, SAC is a sort of alternate universe while the movies continue upon the original with Motoko kinda dwelling within the net for the second, then coming back like she had in SSS.

Not spoilering since SAC is years old..
SAC is an alternate timeline to the original movies. First one ends with the team 'disbanded' and supposedly arrested and the second starts with them being reinstated by the new female PM. Then Solid State Society is a few years later after Motoko left because she realized you needed someone who was willing to do good, while not being constrained by their system. At the end of the movie, she's possibly back since she realized being outside the system also restricted her ability to do good.

I realize I really need to rewatch the original and SAC+2nd Gig, casually catching them on AS every once in awhile makes me totally oblivious to the overall storyline. Mostly I'm just like "saito fuck yeah."

Oh man, the sniper ep in 2nd Gig is one of my favorites. So awesome the way Motoko handles Saito in the flashback XD

Great! Amnesia Ryouku was a a nice change of pace and Ringo was especially cute. The scene with Ryoushi and the other school's president was pretty intense. Ryoushi's line of 'I will hunt you' was fucking epic and his face was great. I felt like the president's admission at the end of the scene, 'I didn't really eat her' was kind of odd, almost forced. I think it was clear that he did assault her, but I don't understand why he'd tell Ryoushi he didn't as he was leaving.
