Re-watching Full Metal Panic! because I love it, but where does the story leave off in the anime and pick up in novels / manga? I was under the impression they weren't picking up the anime for any more and I heard the story gets only better after where TSR ends.

    aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaahhhhhhhhh hhhhhhhhhhhh

    http://www.mediumatlarge.net/2010/09...s-at-nyaf.html

We’re pleased to reveal that the North America premiere of the movie Mobile Suit Gundam 00: Awakening of the Trailblazer will take place at New York Anime Festival/New York Comic Con on Sunday, October 10. This movie is a two hour all original sequel to the Mobile Suit Gundam 00 TV series, which had two seasons and ran for 50 episodes. The movie will premiere in Japan on September 18. It is subtitled in English with Japanese audio.

The series was set at the dawn of the 24th century and the world was still torn by conflict, driven by the rivalry between three great superpower blocs. Then the private armed organization called Celestial Being appeared, announcing its intention to rid the world of war and conflict. In the movie, the year is 2314 AD, two years after Celestial Being's last great battle, and the world faces a new crisis. A derelict Jupiter exploration ship, abandoned 130 years ago, has left its orbit and is approaching Earth. As Celestial Being and its Gundam Meisters begin their final mission to save humanity from an unimaginable threat, Gundam Meister Setsuna F. Seiei is about to discover the true purpose of his evolution as an Innovator, and the nature of the "dialogues" for which legendary scientist Aeolia Schenberg's plan has been preparing the human race.

The all original feature is directed by Seiji Mizushima, director of the television series.

Second Raid covers the 4th and 5th novel. KyoAni never started another season because the last 7 novels have been one story arc. They are pretty tight with the author and a couple years ago the producer of the anime said they wouldn't consider another season until the last novel was released. The last novel was just released this month after years of delay, so we shall see if they decide to continue FMA. K-On! manga is ending this month as well so I don't expect a 3rd season of that which frees KyoAni up quite a bit.

IIRC there was the Christmas arc on the Cruise ship that took place after TSR, but I could have my novels out of order.

Volume 6 *Dancing Very Merry Christmas* Arc can skipped but I really don't see how they can cover 6 volumes of Light Novel in 13 episodes(Second Raid covered 2 volumes of light novel) and the fact it won't outsell or break even to their biggest hit like K-ON, Haruhi and Lucky Star. in business stand point it makes no sense to animate a 3rd season(Please prove me wrong Kyoto Animation).

I am surprised no one mentioned this, Their next project. an animated adaptation of Keiichi Arawi's gag manga Nichijou. it's a mix between Azumanga Diaoh, Lucky Star and Cromartie High School. it's an ova but if gets positive impressions most likely it'll be a TV series.

    So-Ra-No-Wo-To Ep14
I really hated episode 7.5. so hopefully it will be less of that and more character drama.

Some more scans of Beelzebub TV Anime was revealed. looks like they have no plans to censor Baby-Beel balls.

Dancing Very Merry Christmas would make a good 1 - 2 ep OVA. Lots of important stuff happens during it.

    But really now, Ginga Bishounen?

That's a pretty gay name for a mech even by Japanese standard

It's like Gurren Lagann, Code Geass and Utena had an orgy and this is the love child.

Lelouch and Light doing protagonist voices, Geass levels of fabulous animation, Utena designs and Gurren Lagann mecha combat

    Guilty pleasure for sure

Shiki is getting fucking awesome. Episode 9 was the true beginning of this story. The vampires all swarming on Setsuko like that at the end was horrifically awesome. Kind of bummed they left us hanging with the vampires visiting Natsuno's home last week and didn't once continue that story line. Maybe that's where Megumi is headed at the end. Also cool we saw her cut her face and it heal near instantly.

Since Bones's production is the hot topic of this page, I'm going to mention that I just completed Xam'd. I know a few people watched it 2 years ago, but damn, I didn't expect to like this much considering it barely got any attention. Series like that one is the reason why I havent lost faith in anime. The show was beautiful visually, the characters were well written, the plot and setting was interesting (got a bit out of hand near the end, but w/e). It's definitively getting a 10/10 from me. DTB, FMA, Toky Magnitude 8, and now this...I think I will go back and watch the older stuff they made (wolf rain, raxephon, eureka seven). I feel like I'm missing out on more goodies.

About Xam'd, I really enjoyed how they developped characters around the main cast. It's not every day you see the main character's parent work their way into the plot the way they did. The romance part were also original and worked very well with the plot.

Well, I'm worried about the rest. The beginning was awesome, and I doubt what follow can match up the scary/mystery mood. I like the show too much to drop it no matter how weak it get...I'm just not expecting the rest to be as good.

I would recommend Eureka 7. I liked the show and loved the music.

One of my favorite songs from it.

    Hyakka Ryouran SAMURAI GIRLS Ep1

    -Good Animation and vibrate backgrounds.
    -A solid voice cast.
-This a censored version but despite that it was still has a lot Ero-fanservice (uncensored will air at AT-X on October 11th).
    -Decent OP/ED themes
-Some what interesting plot. at least it has a male lead I can relate to.
-My biggest complaint, most of the action was at the opening introduction, and flow of the episode was all over the place.
-One scene part in particular made me roll my eye's. All I will say it involves a horny lesbian(If you want to see it check Pic).

I didn't hate this episode, so I will give it my usual 3 episode try. when the official broadcast starts on October.
