The animation and background style is very intriguing looking.
They vibrate though? Vibrant is the word you mean I think.

fuckin BP ruining our anime now?
I loved Rahxephon, but I get hard on from giant robots and Maaya Sakamoto's voice, so ymmv
The music in the series was just amazing, though the whole lore of the story when it all unfolds does gets a bit confusing.
I should watch it again
Spoiler: show
Wolf's Rain is ehhhhhh...way too much bishounen to my liking, and the whole story played out too much like some furfag's fantasy or something for me to actually enjoy it. And there is the whole part where the ending is fucking retarded.
Spoiler: show
Eureka 7 is fantastic, and if you disagree you need to fall in love.
Yes, it's just a black line, but it's interesting nonetheless, gave me flashbacks of Jet Grind Radio.
Yeah, E7 had some really nice music. I was a fan of both Xam'd and Eureka Seven, and both felt rather similar in the romance aspect of things. Though unlike E7, where the main hero fell in love with the 'alien', the main character in Xam'd did not. Hell, a lot of people were like "OMG TERRIBLE ENDING FOR XAM'D", but I thought it was nice and simple.
As far as Wolf's Rain.. yeah. Not my cup of tea at all. It was okay, but fuck that ending.
As far as this goes with Samurai Girls.. delicious boobs.
Am I recalling the ending wrong? I thought wolf's rain ended with everyone dieing, but Kiba and Cheza succeeding in laying the foundation for the new world. And then it gave us a small view of the new world with everyone reincarnated for comfort/closure. I was perfectly fine with that. /confused
I thought everyone died too.. but then again it's been so long.
I bought the Darker Than Black season 1 box set and the whole Eureka 7 series a few weeks ago because i usualy watch them with my older Bro, buuut since he has been busy he told me to just watch them with out him. Any suggestions on which one to watch first??
I haven't seen Darker Than Black so I can't really comment, but I personally loved E7. The series is fantastic and the movie is alright. So my vote would be for that.
I'd say DTB. E7 kind of annoyed me since it couldn't decide if it wanted to be a mech show, teen drama, or some kind of sci-fi cautionary tale of racial discrimination.
