doki is doing Asobi, they have the first BD (uncensored ep 1 & 2) done.
BD 2 only just came out, and they still need to check timing, add subs to any new scenes, etc. all while juggling other projects on their schedule.

Did you not even read my post? I said doki is doing it. They are not a speedsub group, give them a fucking week or two. They've already got the entire censored TV run done if you're that impatient.

Here's how you find groups. Go to My Anime List, use the search bar by typing in the anime you want. When you are on the anime's page, (for example http://myanimelist.net/anime/6166/Asobi_ni_Iku_yo! ) scroll to the bottom, you will see a subsection "fansubbing groups".
This will not tell you if the group is good however, just who the fuck is doing it. It also wont tell you if the group dropped the project. (doki hasn't, they're just busy)
Track down the group's (or groups' if you want to sleuth multiple subbers) site (if they have one), maybe it'll be useful maybe it won't, you may need to look through archives (if they have any). A number of sub groups troll their followers so badly that it makes BG spam look like a polite cotillion.

With this method, you'll find what you need probably three fourths of the time. Though the earlier in the decade an anime was subbed will reduce your rates accordingly. MAL does have holes, but is pretty complete for anything the past few years.
