I stopped caring about what KyoAni does after endless eight.

The worst part about this is that those bullshit moeblobs will keep them above the red, and that pretty much means they'd have zero incentive on selling the right to FMP to other studio that'd actually make it like Gonzo did with Strike Witches and...FMP

I know why they're doing it. Maybe watching PSG gave me a little hope for future anime, but it seems a show like that comes around once a decade or something.

I didn't like it. Even if you exclude the uneeded nudity and forced mature theme, I found the characters and plot extremely bland. The concept wasn't bad, but the end result wasnt something I cared about.

I must have a robot fetish or something, but I always like that kind of story. The show was a nice change of pace from your standard anime.


The bonus scene in the movie (movie was just the 6 episodes combined) kinda hinted at future season. It's not a confirmation they will do it, but we can only hope for more closure.

The anime actually tells you that tidbit. Or rather, if it didn't outright tell you it I was easily able to deduce it from watching the anime. I personally liked the series, but thought it could have been done a lot better. It's also one of the mangas I "plan to read".. sometime in the next decade.

Kaori's scene was so powerful, I feel so terrible for her character, digging her own grave biting on that shovel begging to be given a posthumous name. Megumi is a fucking evil bitch. The junior monk is also a piece of shit for seeing her in that state and Tohru and still choosing to go willingly to the Shiki. What the FUCK. The husband of the shiki who has her sights on Toshio is pretty weird, being a human but letting his Shiki wife have his way with some random dude, what's in it for him, how very odd. Finally, very shocked that Toshio went out like that. Natsuno just running through the woods all episode long, what the fuck man. I guess we have like 5 episodes to resolve stuff still but at this point it's like there is literally nobody left to narrate reasonably besides Natsuno, everybody else is bitten now and we've got the secondary clinic/funeral home running at full along with most of the village's infrastructure being replaced by nightly shiki. I really have a hard time seeing what's left for Natsuno to save on his own...

You should look up the guy's other stuff. It's equally good, though all much shorter. Aquatic Language and Pale Cocoon are the english names for them. I know that you can find them on Crunchyroll.

2nd and 3rd parts were so good. Her being shocked at her 'flaps' moving was great and not being able to figure out their functionality. Then 3rd part with her being fascinated by umbrellas, so good. 'Rolling Shower Attack!' Then her not being able to figure out how to open it... so cute.
