Even if it did "apply" to them, which is very likely won't, they make enough money from those series that the fines would be inconsequential. It would be like a tax on them more than anything.

naturo, bleach, gundam, Fairy tail, one piece, kissXsis, inu yashu, dragon ball series hell even doreamon are subject to the law because it is vague and covers these titles and much more as forbidden. Anything that encites "animated violence and or adult like nature that isn't R18" pretty much is covered in the law (well maybe not exact words, I blame google) but seeing from the JP's picture of what animes will be removed, and google translations thats what it looks like.

The end.. is coming before 2012 ;/

Who is it that's claiming they are subject to the law? Someone who's pressing for it to be passed or some blogger who is stretching the context. I can quote bloggers who think the healthcare bill is going to setup death panels, that doesn't mean that's actually how the law is applied.

Star driver is beyond stupid but I can't. stop.... watching it... I wish they would cut the story(?) out a little more and make the fights a tad more interesting. I mean, the baseball episode was just.. /facepalm. The guy had a sword and he was trying to hit shit with his orbs ugghh.... I hope the badguys get to the 3rd phase soon so shit gets goods

Yeah I'm going through the same thing. In general, it's fucking retarded but I can't stop watching it. Likewise, I'm just hoping they pick up the pace u.u

the plot are so retarded, and the fights are pretty damn predictable if you even pay a bit of an attention of the school life happening. But yeah, it's so fabulous, I can't help but to keep watching, that and it's the only damn mecha series on the season. I guess there is that SRT OG too, but I can't be assed to watch something with an even dumber plot.
