Considering the discussion on it throughout the last few weeks (mostly by Maguspk and Kaylia), I think I'll give it another shot. I was totally uninterested after 3 episodes, so I dropped it.

Bad writing but good drama, that's all I can say. I liked it because the concept was original and the ost was amazing (it's my favorite one in 2010), but it could never live to its potential.


The manga might be a decent alternative if you were bothered by the pacing

Just watched the 00 movie... the fuck was that. I mean, sure the action was exciting, and like the last half was pure action which was great, but the story was so far out there.

The February issue of Kadokawa Shoten's Newtype magazine is confirming on Saturday that a new television anime called Dog Days will debut this April. The anime production company Aniplex already registered the domain dogdays.tv last year, and the studio Seven Arcs (Asura Cryin', Sekirei, Magical Girl Lyrical Nanoha) is animating the project.

Just got around to watching this. Easily the best thing I've watched in a good long while, nonstop laughs at Vash's antics.

The fuck is Dog Days? It looks exactly like Nanoha (I know same director, but still). A's was great, but StrikerS was pretty awful from an art/animation perspective and pacing. Mixed feelings about this.

I was kinda pissed at how long it took them to even start having a meaningful relationship that wasn't based in misunderstanding. They kinda reset all the progress they made by the end of the anime for some reason and build it back up again.

Will still watch because Suwako is so goddamn cute.

Infinite Stratos Ep1

-Great Animation(The CG was well produced).
-Solid Voice cast
-The Storyline is pretty ridicules and a stupid male lead to boot.
-Opening/Ending themes were great along with the animation.
-A lot of comedy and fanservice cliches(Oops I entered while she's taking a bath).
-My biggest complain no action beside the start of the episode.

Overall a fun series, nothing I haven't seen before just hopefully they will balance the action and fanservice in the next episode.

Mahou Shoujo Madoka Magica Ep1

-Animation was decent(many stills and repeated animation but great style).
-Opening Theme was great (always the highlight from a Shaft show).
-The storyline isn't anything new.
-Very good voice cast.
-Good soundtrack

Well this sorta of a disappointment, if you didn't watch the opening scene you wouldn't think this a magical girl show until the mid point of the episode. giving this two more episodes and see if I'll stick with it or drop it.

Yumekui Merry Ep1

-Very Good Animation and the Art Style isn't your typical J.C.Staff anime.
-Solid voice cast.
-Great OP/ED+Animation
-Good Soundtrack.
-Fanservice was minor beside the opening animation.
-My biggest complain they had still animation.

Whom ever wrote that chart info for Yumekui Merry need to be shot, the storyline is far more interesting than what was written and the art style is great.

The movie disappointed in more ways than one, and damn that ending.
