That reminds me, I need to go download every shaft show that I haven't watched yet.Fuck yes, this is why SHAFT is the best.
Also, done with naruto- Gonna see how far into shippuden I can get before I pass out.

It's not as much as it is shaft as it is the writer Urobuchi from nitro+
You know...the same guy that wrote Saya no Uta...
Most of his shit involves murder, eldritch horrors, and murderous eldritch horror, which was kinda the reason why I said earlier that Ume's style would be a really weird complement to his writing.

Still, Shaft is doing a great job with the animation and the directing. Then again, I usually like the way Shaft's shows look, feel, and how they flow. They're very individualized in their approach to their work. I'm looking forward to the next few witch's mazes and witches themselves, as well as the magical girl transformation sequences.
I've also been happy with KnT2 (Production IG) and Yumekui Merry (JC Staff) this season, too. AIC has done a good job with the art in Wandering Son.
Any feedback for Beelzebub or Fractale? I have both in addition to Freezing still at episode 0 in my 'Watching' list... can't bring myself to watch them. I haven't seen any discussion for Beelzebub so I'm worried it's not any good.
Be a pioneer. Watch it yourself and tell us what you think.
I watched only 1 ep of fractale and didnt bother downloading the second or third. Beelz was more enjoyable but I don't have much time anymore for anime so it's not on my priority list to watch. I have a friend who loves the mango and he keeps telling me to read it so I'm giving it a few more eps to get exciting. The character introductions and main char trying to pawn off the baby is getting old as is the crying and getting shocked bit.
hmm lets see.. without spoilers hmmm
Beelzebub is a .. odd comedy soorta speaking, it all starts with a highschool guy taking care of a baby thats the demon lord to be that will takeover/destroy the world. I find it a bit entertaining although one the characters especially in episode 3... wtf >.>
Fractale reminds me of laputa of the sky or kiki's delivery service or something along those lines...? Good enough to keep me watching for a bit to see how it turns out.
Speaking of freezing... episode 3 was awesome, and the previews for ep4... O_o *ahem* as someone mentioned earlier I'd still watch the uncensored if that was only thing available, its pretty decent I think with the fighting action, of course the "other" action is more then welcome (to me) anyway XD
Beelzebub has a decent amount of toilet humor and a lot of baby penis. It is tolerable in my opinion. Main reason I keep watching is the main character is pretty awesome.
Fractale seems like it could eventually have a good story, but I'm not quite sure yet. It seems original at least. Oh, and I really love the artwork in it.
So I've been watching Clannad lately... I finished the first season and then the movie (then found out via wiki that the movie was actually released first). I had heard that it was a tear-jerker, but damn...
It was weird watching the Movie after the series, as they took completely different directions. The series was a harem anime, but the movie cut that aspect out completely. The characters were also a little different, such as Nagisa not being an airhead, and Tomoya being a lot less vocal overall. I think that watching the series first made the movie better. The characters were far more developed for me than if I had just watched the movie first- even if they were slightly altered.
I'm gonna watch After-story tomorrow or the day after. I'm afraid that if they go the route of the movie, as I suspect they will, I won't get as much out of it since I know what happens =/. However, seeing as how the movie came out before it was made into a series, I think they would have expected a lot of people to have seen the movie and perhaps give it more depth or change it altogether to keep it fresh.
Clannad has 3 different ending
Bad
Good #1 and good #2
Without telling punches the movie has ending good #1 while the anime has the #2 aka perfect ending
And you will cry much more in After story, be ready for it
Honestly I could not bear with the movie, it was annoying and different
Maybe because i watched clannad and after story before the movie, but the fact that tomoya isisnt voiced by the same after the series and other stuff.
It's good that the movie is different then the amine, but I wasn't able to get like omg that was so awesome!!!!!
This. I recommend not skipping the openings/endings every episode, and watching the last half in one sitting if possible. And you will cry much more in After story, be ready for it
The only part of Clannad I actually cried was in the Ghost Arc when Fuuko appeared to celebrate her sister's wedding
But after story is another story heheh
I didn't even cry in Clannad. But I fucking bawwed my eyes out in after story.
PLEASE ACCEPT THIS!

yeah, fuck watching anything key as long as they keep that fucking itaru style.
actually, just fuck key anime in general, the lack of itaru did nothing to make angel beats sucks less.
Level E Ep 3
continues to be fucking amazing, seriously great characterization and further development of what seems to be the main plot.

I found it amusing for Takuto's back-story, they totally rip off *The Place Promised in Our Early Days*
The Battle animations has been pretty good.

Amazon Ranking Madoka Magica Pre-order List:
http://amastker.s345.xrea.com/show.c...ZAE&rg=24&li=0
Madoka Magica status looks ridiculously good, early reports are indicating this might do as much as bakemonogatari or even more. some are claiming it already surpassed the 8k+ mark. so don't be surprised if first volume sells 70k+ in it's first week.
Doing fairly well:
Kimi ni Todoke second season.
Infinite Stratos
Yumekui Merry
Mediocre:
Gosick
Freezing
Failures:
Rio - Rainbow Gate
Dragon Crisis
Kore wa Zombie Desuka?
Hourou Musuko
Mitsudomoe Second season
*Note Pre-orders aren’t completely indicative of what the final sales will be like.
Edit
Forgot to credit applejuice for Madoka Magica chart.
So decapitation and mutilation gets preorder?
Now that I think about it, Japanese anime industry and American video game industry had a lot more in common in term of appeal, scrutiny, and plot depth
Really? I mean, that's just strange to me. DRRR's art style is much easier to grasp compared to Key anime, which makes you wonder WTF is wrong with their faces. I like Key stuff, but the art style is fucking weird. Good animation though, so that helps.
Also, what happened to Kuragehime? It was coming out until around Xmas, then it disappeared. The last episode I saw was 10, but I haven't checked past TT for any more.
