Sorry, but seriously, they should show TTGL to 5th graders instead of teaching American History, it's that good.

The movies take the series, condense it into a couple hours of kickassery, then take things even further into absurdity, and doesn't stop until it comes all the way back around to holyfuckbats awesome.

Welp, finally got around to finishing it. I should restate my opinion on episode seven, given the reponses. The episode was fine and good, it's just that I didn't want him to do what he did. D:

As for the ending. I guess I liked it. I'm a sucker for romance ends though. I would have loved if he ended up hapily ever after. Definitely a good watch. And yeah, being able to watch episodes back to back is <3.

Can't believe the season is already almost half over (this weekend will be week 6/12). Been a pretty middle-heavy season thus far with what I've been watching. For me, Madoka is the only one separating itself from the pack. Fractale, Kimi ni Todoke have potential depending on how the second half goes, while Wandering Son, Freezing, Level E, Zombie, and Yumekui Merry have work to do. None of those shows are bad and it surprises me that Merry and Zombie are the bottom of my 8 shows (unless you count that Gainax/Subaru ONA). Maybe I've gotten better at dropping shows or I have better tastes. Still am happy with Star Driver and Index II, too.

What's everyone's opinion of this season so far?

Madoka > everything else. It continues to be awesome as fuck. The opening is such a huge troll lol.
I am deeply disappointed in Gosick, it's BONES and yet it's so damn mediocre, wtf happened here. Yumekui Merry is better than I thought it would be but still pretty meh. Hourou Musuko is pretty cool, if you like that kind of stuff (which I do). Fractale could have been a lot better this far... Level E continues to be amusing but I feel like the joke is going to wear out pretty soon.

It really seems like Madoka is going to be the only noteworthy thing this season will have produced, minus Hourou Musuko just for the type of story it is.

Madoka has been great so far. I still prefer the overall quality of Fractale, but if every season could have at least one anime like this, I would be happy.


The only thing I hated about this episode is how madoka stayed silent when Sayaka was getting angry in the alley. She should at least have mentioned what happened between mami and homura...But either way, the ending made it entirely worth it

Madoka is definitely my favourite, Level E was really good (though I remember reading the manga). Everything else ranges from decent to good, but nothing is as interesting as Madoka (and Star Driver, but that's last season).

It’s been a while since we had a complete 2 part installment where we got to see the characters being their carefree goofy selves without some kind of convoluted crisis hanging over their heads. Anyway, a lot was going in this episode despite the carefree atmosphere such as Hyoka Kazakiri turning into FUZE=Kazakiri and the foreshadow of Accelerator’s “neutral good” side.

I dropped Madoka mainly because Shinbo is old hat now, his last 5 shows have all been the same shit.

Zombie is probably my favorite this season, but I'm surprised no one mentioned Mitsudomoe 2. Also watching Infinite Stratos, Dragon Crisis, KnT2, Freezing (<3 Lim Dal Young), Beelzebub, and OniiZen.

Plus Index, Bakuman from last season.

I actually like Madoka thus far. Now, that's to say the show since I utterly hate Madoka's actual character. Was watching ep 6 last night with a friend and we were just making yugioh abridged jokes with all the "FRIENDSHIP" crap. My god it's becoming nothing short of incredibly annoying and I'm starting to feel the title of the series is one big troll and she'll never become a puella magi. But, it's dark and creepy things keep happening so I'll hold onto it.

You have really shitty taste on anime if you honestly drop Madoka and still watches Freezing, IS, Dragon Crisis and Ochinko

Hell, throw fucking KnT in there, you'd have to like Noto Mamiko enough to watch Freezing to find KnT even close to not sucking, which seem to be your case.

And seriously, while shaft show have similar style from obviously being a shaft production, labeling Bakemonogatari, Arakawa, Soremachi, and Madoka as "the same shit" when you're fucking watching IS makes you retarded.

If there is anything that embodies "the same shit" mentality this season, IS is exactly that.
