Why they killed off the coolest character ;_;

I'm holding out hope that they'll bring him back as the guy in the silver mask they seem to have in every gundam.

To be quite honest, if they bring him back, I'll feel it's a HUGE cop-out and I'll resent the series for it. I won't stop watching it of course, but I'll resent it just like I did Destiny for bring Mwu back. It's all about the fanbase with Gundam, and the polls and what not. Either way, Lockon's death was a perfect way for him to go. He went, seemingly destroying his enemy and fighting for what he believed in. If he "survived" and came back as a masked man or just someone else in general, it'd ruin the power behind episode 23 and will just be a huge cop-out. D:

As much as I love Lockon's character, I just hope he doesn't come back. He will always live in our memory though as one bad-ass motherfucker.

Haro (that is the circle robots name right?) will be the new gundam pilot in the name of lockon.

What are some solid torrent servers now-a-days for downloading anime? Larger ones with lots of content and seeds, and maybe a few private trackers or ones that host licensed content.

OMFG, that episode of 00 was much worse than it made it out to. I'm going to be so pissed when it ends. They're definitely not going to bring Lockon back, and since they have the Dynames back its likely pilots will be re-arranged... It's such a great series and to fucking remove a lead character like that there's gotta be something significant coming. Also thought it was pretty cool that Veda was actually Aoelia.

I mean as in, already knowing the outcome and then actually seeing how it happened lol. It just was fucked up on so many levels lol. Was a great episode but the plot twist and effects of actually seeing it was, yah pretty sad lol.

Man, no matter how many times I see it, the end of episode 23 still kinda gets me. Lockon was probably my favourite character on the show :\

But I do have to say that they've made up for the shithole that was Kira and Gundam SEED. Best Gundam series I've watched in a very long time.

Is it me or did anyone else think the Nonohara butler looked like a total knock-off of Ichimaru Gin? Oh and is there any version of the show without the crappy sensors all the time? I mean sometimes I start to wonder what the hell is so bad like when they get really beat up and cover their faces, I'm thinking its a teaser or some sort but eh censors are really starting to get lame.

TBH, there was nothing really wrong with SEED. It just wasn't powerful. It's basically the same caliber show as that of Gundam Wing. It was good it just wasn't strong. 00 is following the same path as Code Geass in the sense that, its much more plot / drama oriented while still maintaining a sense of individualism that each of the mech series has.

Granted Code Geass is in a league of its own, I think the pattern is similar.

I think he is suposed to look like him, but it wouldnt be the first anime with mysterious looking guy who have a weird grind and their eyes closed (first one I remember was Xellos in Slayers).

If you want no censor, you will have to wait for the dvd or get the manga. I supose you were talking about the ship episode, which is probably the only episodes where censor pissed me off.

The Hayate the Combat Butler anime first aired on TV Tokyo in Japan on April 1, 2007, produced by animation studio SynergySP and with music by K?tar? Nakagawa. The series is also slated to air on the CS television network Animax starting on October 25, 2007, where it will receive its satellite television premiere, and will be shown uncensored.[2]

As a result of originally being backed by TV Tokyo, the anime has had several elements censored or toned down. Examples include Hayate's mother's gambling addiction being referred to as "Investing (money, in the given case, Hayate's paycheck) in her dream" and Hayate merely being given to "nice men" for work rather than to the Yakuza for his organs (although at one point, mention was made towards harvesting Hayate's organs for money). Characters in the show make reference to the fact that they apparently cannot show the offending material and that the show is "fighting the broadcast code". There is some censorship that is intended as a joke as in any given instance of Hayate bleeding being censored by a sign reading "can't show this". The anime, like the manga, has references to other anime as well as some original references such as bleeping out words. This method of censoring references has followed onto the English translation of the manga. The DVD contains two audio tracks; one track contains the original audio aired on TV Tokyo and the other track removes the bleeping. The DVDs are also uncensored.

Alot of stuff is censored in the manga too, it *****s anime names, etc. But its intentional.
