This seriously bums me out, I really hope by next week they air 11 and then 12...I don't know how time slots work but if they lose their time slot since they missed a week that might mean they'd have to stream the last episode or something. This is Bakemonogatari all over again, I hope it doesn't end up being like 4 months later we get episodes 11 and 12.

Planning on watching Suzumiya Haruhi soon and wondering the best way to watch it. Read that there is a chronological version and the way it was actually aired. I watched Kara no Kyoukai in the aired order which was fine. Is there anything else different between the 2006 and 2009 versions other then airing order?

The 2006 version is only 14 episodes as well. 2009 introduced 14 new episodes and reordered everything chronologically. I didn't watch when any of it originally aired, so I went with chronological order. Things flow a bit better that way. That said I'll probably try it in aired ordered some day just for the experience. Definitely watch the movie last.

It should also be noted that the first season episodes re-released in 2009 are (pretty bad) SD upscales to 1080p since that season wasn't produced in HD. Only the OP/ED were actually reanimated in HD. I'd recommend going with the Coalgirls release which compromises with a 720p resolution to minimize upscale shenanigans.


As for Lucky Star I looked at it like Seinfeld, only as an anime involving high school girls. It was pretty good once I watch it with that in mind. It's even better if you watch it after watching Haruhi.

Haha, this is probably the 50th time I've seen Lucky Star compared to Seinfeld... so maybe that's a valid comparison, I wouldn't know though because I didn't actually watch much Seinfeld. All I know is the anime tenchou and various other skits were hilarious while much of the rest of the show was pretty toned down and just had light jokes which was fine by me. Well, except the first few episodes... I'll admit those were not very good. The chocolate cornet shit was terrible.

Indeed, it was the thing that put me off the show. Though I did watch like 5 episodes, it really didn't take hold... Though that's not to say I won't give it more of a chance, maybe someday I'll watch the whole thing.

Well the same sort of thing happened to Bakemonogatari, eventually they lose their time slot. I don't know just pushing it back by one week could mean something else airs in it's place instead of the last episode. The other anime around Mahou Shoujo aired as normal so it's not like the entire block got pushed back, just Mahou Shoujo.

I was about to spill my drink as soon as I read this announcement. I am almost sure no one heard or even read this manga. ANN's summary make it sound like your typical era anime with girls.

Accurate Summary:

In this current era, breasts mean everything. If you have breasts, you are guaranteed wealth and popularity. If you lack them, you are rarely considered "human". Members of the Manyuu Clan help raise the future big breasts. Written on a secret scroll possessed by the clan, there is said to be various techniques on how to grow big and beautiful breasts.

I should watch the new FMA series. HotD was very fun, but they take forever and a day releasing episodes so I'd recommend waiting a bit until you watch it Taube. I'll definitely watch Angel Beats, I've heard it recommended a few times actually. Thanks for the recommendations guys!

I don't believe in recommending animes that you have to pick up the Manga in order to continue the story (Berserk and Claymore are the ones I can think of off the top of my head).
