- Tomoya and Nagisa start dating before the drama club is reinstated and has its performance, not after.
- Tomoya and Nagisa move in together shortly after Nagisa starts her 3rd year for the 3rd time, not after she graduates and they get married.
- Kotomi and Yukine don't show up at all when following Nagisa's story since most of the choices that take you to them keep you away from other major plot points.
- Kouko and Yusuke don't get married until after Fuko wakes up.
- No one actually retained any memories during the "time rewind" (most likely the case in both game and anime). The scene that seemed to imply Tomoya and Nagisa retained their memories wasn't the actual event at the bottom of the hill, but a reliving of the memory for Tomoya. In the final scene in the Illusionary World the girl clearly stated that the junk doll (Tomoya) wouldn't remember anything after returning to "the most important day". I think that addresses Kaylia's main gripe with the Illusionary World.
- Fuko and Tomoyo are much more amusing/interesting in the game. Fuko pranks, Fuko Master and Tomoyo arc, 'nuff said. It was also neat to see how well the "achievements" lined up between the game and anime.
- I won't elaborate any more on my thoughts since not many here seem to have played the game, but I see the existence of the Illusionary World in a somewhat different light after playing through it.
- Regarding the game in particular, just a mild spoiler explaining some mechanics:
- If you complete the After Story portion (playing through to Ushio's death) without obtaining everyone's lights the girl asks you to save someone else's happiness and then the credits roll and spit you out at the title screen. It's not possible to get them all in one After Story play through.
- When playing through After Story after obtaining all 13 lights you automatically enter the "true end" after reaching Ushio's birth.
