Man why did I watch Gundam 00, based on interview information it's going to cliffhanger so fucking hard.

I've seen it, thought it was great.
Was it worth watching it or did you not like it?Originally Posted by aers
Worth watching for the graphic, it's really beautiful. Doubt everyone will appreciate the story , but I thought it was well done.Originally Posted by SamanosukeShiva
Indeed, that bit with the space shuttle was amazing. The way the light from the boosters was muffled behind the clouds, the smoke trail and how it caught the light and had shadows coming off it and how it blew away later on. Beautiful.Originally Posted by Kaylia
Edit: And the part in the field afterwards was fantastic too.
So I've decided that I want to start watching a third anime, on top of Naruto and Bleach, with I watch religiously. I wanted to see if I could get a suggestion on something else to watch. It can be either something old and already finished, or something new with episodes still being released. Past favorites of mine include: Yu Yu Hakusho, Inuyasha, Rurouni Kenshin, Gundam SEED, and Dragon Ball Z (lol). English subbed is fine, though I do prefer English dubbed (I expect plenty of "blah blah blah EN dubbed ruins animes, etc."). So yeah, help appreciated! (reposted from my nub thread, because apparently glancing over the title of a thread at least twice a day does NOT help you to realize its existence...)
lol
I can only imagine the smirks that caused.
Full Metal Alchemist is good.Originally Posted by Ryushii

Do yourself a favor and get used to subbed anime. It's that much better. I dont know anyone who want to go back to dubbed anime after 3-4 series. So I've decided that I want to start watching a third anime, on top of Naruto and Bleach, with I watch religiously. I'm not really sure what to recommend since the only anime you watched before are the most popular one, and have never ending story. You could give Gurren Laggann a try, it's a pretty good anime. Watch at least up to ep 7, because 4-6 kinda sucked.
I'm watching Baccanno! atm, and I think everyone would enjoy it. Only 12 episodes, but story is really well done imo.
@ Kaylia: Did you get a batch torrent or is it still on-going? I remember trying to watch it a while ago but got distracted and never gave it a chance...
@ Ryushii: I can't really get a grip on what you like to watch, so a general list is approaching.
Claymore (good action anime, though the story starts to diverge from the manga at around episode 20, but if you like it then you should pick up the manga)
Code Geass (awesome mech anime that differs from the usual format, great story telling and characters)
Full Metal Panic (again, robots with a very good comedic twist along with good action and characters)
FMP: Fumoffu (one of the funniest things you may ever watch)
FMP: The Second Raid (see FMP)
School Rumble (amazing comedy anime with amazing characters and love connections that keep you guessing endlessly. Takes a while to get into it but once you do you'll be glad)
Black Lagoon (excellent action anime, kind of like a modern day Cowboy Bebop)
Cowboy Bebop (you'll thank me after you watch it)
Last Exile (great story and characters, nice concept as well)
Azumanga Daioh (old school comedy that's incredibly well done, if you like it then read Yotsuba&, funniest manga ever)
Ichigo Mashimaro (another comedy that's worth watching if you like laughing)
Cowboy Bebop, Outlaw Star, Trigun, Eureka 7, Death Note, Wolf's Rain, The Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya and there more I just can't think of some yet for your dubbed needs but ya give those shows a try![]()

It's the batch torrent I used. Feel free to go look for another, I believe another group subbed it as well. And yes, the series is only 13 episodes long.
I watched and loved all of those (except code geass), but I wouldnt recommand half of them to someone who only watched DBZ (and other clones). Cowboy Beebop, FMP and Last Exile are probably the most accessibles for someone who is starting.Claymore (good action anime, though the story starts to diverge from the manga at around episode 20, but if you like it then you should pick up the manga)

Meh, I'm not really sure what someone 'starting out' would find easier to watch >.> all anime is pretty easy to watch if you like the story/characters. But thanks for the link on Baccano! Gonna start watching that soon.
I agree about Cowboy Bebop, was one of the first animes I started watching back on old-school Adult Swim and thats what really got me started into anime. You'd also like Trigun/Yu Yu Hakusho/Full Metal Alchemist (Although it gets really boring in the middle) and Inuyasha for a good while before it gets boring and repetetive as well.
I enjoyed it.Originally Posted by Akiyama

On another note, Baccano! actually had a 14th episode released DVD-only recently, Ayu IS subbing it..eventually. Or so they tell me.
I got a few bad reactions showing school/comedy/romance to people who never watched animes before (or 2-3), they just don't get it and get bored really fast. Maybe I'm wrong, but it's the impression I get.Originally Posted by Elcura
Semi-Big news. Gonzo planning to released subbed shows same day as Japan airing.
