If you're still looking for something cute and funny, Shinryaku! Ika Musume is one that I enjoyed a lot. It's a light-hearted comedy that doesn't do a whole lot but what it does it does very well.

But I started reading Yotsubato! (Kaylia's recommendation) and that's been really cute/funny so far. So thanks Kaylia! I'll also try looking at some of the shows Ulmega recommended since he seems to know a lot about cute/funny shows, too.

The correct answer to cute+funny, where are you reading Yotsuba? I have so many reaction images saved of the little girl who I assume is the 'Yotsuba' but have never read the manga. Is it still ongoing?

Also, does anyone know how long it usually takes after a BD is released in japan for it to be available for download via torrent? PSG Vol4. came out last Friday and it's still not available anywhere. I just want it for the bonus music tracks, really hoping this song is in it...

Really surprised their making Deadman's Wonderland an anime already. The manga hasn't really been going for that long.
Though there is a place where they could end the anime with no loose ends with just like 1 extra filler episode.

Not all April Fools are bad though. The ZeroRaws version of Madoka 11 is the Ron cover of Fukkireta which is a song I love and have been listening to the past few months. All I had before was a 10 and half minute version but theirs is 24 minutes. I'm actually going to keep this file for a long time :3

You are Umasou Movie is great even thought the plot isn't original. It’s dramatic. It has fighting, social consequences, Pride, doesn't shy away from death and despite all that. it still have a lot of cute/funny moments.

Final thoughts:

Pretty much what I expected. Season II ended with out a whimper rather than a big bang. I feel like the Short Story Arc, should have been shelved, and staff should have extended the final major arc all the way to the end. J.C.Staff must have loose screws in their heads. I can understand cuts that doesn't severe the plot, but some of the deleted scenes made no sense and were very crucial for the breakdown between the Magic+ Science sides. and why the tension rose, enough to start a war.

Still the animation(ignoring the festival arc), soundtrack and voice cast performance were all top notch. also I can't deny the cheer enjoyment, watching my favorite characters animated and kicking major ass.


Overall J.C.STAFF did strip down the epicess from the light novels(too many to count), but season II had its good points and I still enjoyed watching it despite my petty gripes, and I can't wait for a 3rd season(if it ever happens) with slew of new characters, battles, events and more gruesome deaths to come.

Is accelerator supposed to be some super strong Class 5 or whatever the best class was, I forgot. His name makes it sound like all he can do is run really fast, if that's his power and he's really killing all these people that's fucking lame.

The graphic half-loli makes me curious, why was Railgun shit I watched so terrible compared to how badass these posts about Index seem.

Don't get your hopes up. Index is like 90% the same as railgun but that other 10% is pretty cool. Ker posts mostly about the novel, not the animu afaik. Besides the episode recaps of coarse.

Accelerator is the strongest Class 5 I think. His power allows him to change the vectors of anything he touches, just going to steal this from wikipedia:

He has an ability called "Vector Change", a form of telekinesis allowing him to change the vector values of anything he touches due in part of having a thin coat of AIM fields surrounding his body. This ability allows Accelerator perform feats such as reversing the blood flow inside a person's body, increasing the wind velocity around him to create a massive plasma storm, and blocking sound. His ability is automatic, which means that he must consciously allow gravity to affect him and that his body blocks all ultraviolet radiation, resulting his albino appearance (white hair and pale skin) because his body is unable to make melanin. The automatic nature of Redirection also prevents the use of projectiles (like bullets) and explosives (like bombs) against him.

They have ended both seasons on such a random episode now, so weird. I'm still liking the story, but it seems to move so slow at times. The setting and major plot points are very interesting, but just feel like they aren't handled well at times.

If DogDays is anything like Utawarerumono, then I'm stoked. I loved that show and it was my favorite anime that I watched in 2006.

Also, I think DogDays starts today, so I'm going to keep my eyes out for it when I get back from work.
